Reviews summary
This summary was created by AI, based on recent reviews.

At the Four Points by Sheraton Los Angeles International Airport, guests appreciate the hotel's close proximity to LAX and the handy shuttle service, despite some dated aspects. Service quality varies, with commendations for professionalism alongside grievances about inefficiencies. Many guests find the room cleanliness satisfactory, yet the outdated and sometimes poorly maintained conditions detract from the experience.
The hotel's atmosphere and amenities receive mixed reviews, with the lack of modern touches and high costs for food and parking being common points of contention. Noise from the airport and surrounding area is also a frequent concern among visitors.

Detailed Reviews
The location is great and the hotel had many rooms, but the overall experience was just ok. I booked a room online because there was a convention of some sort and the check in line had 50+ people in line. Booking online says you can also check in online after 30 minutes. I did that and waited 30 minutes and it would not let me check in. By that time the line was short and I checked in at the front desk. She told me you can't check in online at this hotel. Would have been nice to know but ok. They only had 3 luggage carts which didn't help with 100+ people checking in at the same time. The AC in the room didn't work. I turned on Cold and after about 30 minutes the room temperature went up 2 degrees. It was not operator error, I checked it several times. The room was not bad but a little dated. The hotel staff was extremely nice. Parking was $55/night and a salad from the restaruant ran me almost $30 so be aware. Probably normal for a hotel near LAX I guess. If you need to stay near the airport, it is not a bad option.

Love the quick and easy shuttling service to and from the airport. The security and other attendant at the hotel was very nice and informative!
The only problem I had was with the deposit. When I called customer service to ask about a deposit and payment all they told me what was needed was the amount for the room. When I arrived to the front desk to check in the lady told me the deposit was $350! I was shocked to hear that because I stayed there before and deposit was only $100 AND I had called customer service to ask prior checking in! Luckily, I did have just enough to cover. But I was very upset because of this!
I was also very hungry and the self serve market didn't have much choices to choose from. I ending up getting a cup of noodles. Note to guests you will also need your room key to open the market and the market place does not have serving utensils! I had to come back down and ask the front desk for a fork.
The coffee maker worked good BUT it was dirty and smelly! I had to run 2 brews before being able to use it plus wipe and wash it!
I had landed in at 1130pm...by the time I was done settling in and being able to rest it was 130am. I would love to highly recommend this place but I'm not so sure now.

Compass05173524148, it is great to hear you found the shuttle service and the team members helpful and informative. Regarding your concerns, it is unfortunate that there was a misunderstanding about the deposit and that you had limited options in the market. Your feedback on these matters is appreciated and will be looked into. The condition of the coffee maker is not what we aspire to provide our guests and your notes on this have been noted. Your insights are valuable, and we are hopeful for the opportunity to provide a more seamless experience for you in the future.

I stayed at this hotel for a night in March 2024. Stay itself was uneventful, what I expected from Four Points by Sheraton. The hotel itself is a little dated but I knew beforehand.
A day after the check-out, a $400 charge was added to my credit card for "Smoking/Cleaning" from the hotel. I do not smoke, I did not smoke, and I did not smell any smoke in the room. It was an overnight stay, I did not do anything to cause excessive cleaning of the room.
I called the hotel and they told me that I had to talk with an accounting, other people could not help me. I called the hotel accounting number of number of times but looks like the accounting never answered the call, the only option is to leave a message. I have not heard back from the hotel accounting.
I have been a Diamond member with Hilton for over a decade, and I stayed at Four Points because due to the event at Sofi Stadium, many hotels were sold out. This left me with a bad taste for this hotel. If I need to stay in the LAX area again, there are many choices and most likely I will not stay at Four Points again. I will stick with Hilton.

I'm staying at this hotel right now and I'm left alone because it's very night and I'll leave the room in a few hours.
On the internet by agency (bestday) I paid 125 usd for one night of hosting and was asked for a 350usd deposit! And the parking charges 55 usd a night. In addition to this we found ticks in the room.
I got my own sheets and repellent.
Front-line employees don't listen.

I do not enjoy going negative, but here there is no choice.
This one is a shabby, overcrowded waystation and nothing more despite its expansive conference rooms and bleak outdoor pool area. The rooms are without charm or basic amenities, like water glasses, to say nothing of a fridge, microwave, or ice bucket, any of which would have made the stifling atmosphere more tolerable. There was a coffee maker with a one-day supply, three tea bags, and two paper cups. There is a one-woman coffee stand and a bar in the lobby, thank God, with standard fare, where guests may at least commiserate about their mutual confinement.
The shortcomings of the property would be lessened by an engaged staff but, sadly, in my experience, their abilities ranged from indifferent to invisible. The one person I encountered who seemed to take his job seriously was the parking lot attendant. I was overcharged four times the price for parking ($250 instead of $50 for a day), but I put that down not to him but to the somnambulant front desk personnel and their corporate overlords who do not care about their guests, their property, or their employees. I have rarely seen a business that is so obviously a money machine and nothing else.
The one thing they paid attention to was the bed. No complaints there, other than the noise of the building, the housekeepers, and Los Angeles. If you need a bed for one night or even a few hours, you will do better spending a little more across the street while remaining convenient to LAX and car rental lots.
Neither I nor anyone in my company will ever stay at a Sheraton property again.

Avoid going to this hotel at all costs… not even for one night. We arrived late in the evening, the parking is horrible and extremely expensive, the hotel is outdated and the girl who did our check in was extremely rude and unhelpful. Charged us an insane amount of money as a fee only to find a room that was literally disgusting. The carpets were stained everywhere , the filters of the air conduct were literally black from all the dust and the bathroom didn’t work properly. When we went down to figure out what to do , we stepped outside for a minute and as I tried to throw something in the trash the shuttle’s driver started screaming at me saying I couldn’t smoke there, I tried to explain that I was a non smoker and that I was just throwing some trash but he was lashing at me so much he didn’t even hear me and then he just ran into the shuttle again, literally insane. Then we decided we were not going to stay there and as we waited in the longest cue ever at the front desk we saw a woman come down with to bed sheets claiming they were dirty (which they were) and we over heard one of the cleaning ladies making fun of it with the security men in Spanish (we are Spanish , so of course we understood everything) he was asking if she thought they were actually dirty and she laughed about it saying “most probably , but why would I care?”. The young men who did our checkout was the only polite person we met there.
Do yourself a favor and don’t ever book this place, not even for one night. We still have not gotten our money back and we really hope this gets figured out. We have proof and pictures of everything, unacceptable.

The pillows were chunky and great, the food in the small bar and the food in the diner were both very good and were brought out fresh and hot. The gentleman that waited our table in the diner was very professional and treated us as if we were family asking what else we needed (ketchup, etc.) and did we want more drink. Housekeeping knocked and brought towels propmtply when we did not wish the room cleaned. Everyone was great!

Our stay here was purely due to a cancelled flight, so we didn't have any choice about staying here, as it's where Qantas put us up for two nights.
There were positives and negatives.
Positives were- a comfortable bed
Shower was ok, room was clean
Food at restaurant was acceptable
Laundry facilities were available for guests at a cost
The pool area was nice
Negatives- the tip was mandated and service was ordinary
Internet was constantly dropping out
Room was tired and needed updating

I did not like my experience at all! Someone came into my room while I was getting ready to go to bed. Apparently, you guys double-booked my room meaning they had card access to my room which startled me and was honestly super scary. I called the manager to complain and I thought things were fixed as they said they'd move me into another room. However, when I went to go get my key in check-in, it was brought to my attention that the manager was unaware of this situation and I was actually talking to someone who was not the manager, which confused me. I asked if could speak to the manager but the check-in lady said she would call my room once she wasn't so busy so I could explain what happened BUT she never called me back. With that being said, I did not know that this hotel did not include a minifridge or even a microwave (except one microwave which was on the first floor of the hotel and super hidden and hard to find). This made our stay a bit more complicated and more expensive than I anticipated- I've been to various hotels and not one did not come with the basic necessity of a fridge or microwave. Also, the AC was not adjustable as it was too hot in our room- we felt cooler when we left our room than inside our room which says a lot regarding it was a summer in LA. Also, the TV had no sound and was glitching in the first room we were out in before we got moved because of our incident- which was very surprising.

Older hotel in need of refresh. Had lunch today and my wife and I ordered a ceasar salad not knowing it came from the diaplay case and was not fresh after eating it looked at the lid and it was dated 2 days old, made sense that the chicked was dry and the croutons were mush. I ordered a drink that was in the same display case and the cashier said let me get you a cold one and went to a seperate fridge to get it. So the display isnt cold enough for my drink but is cold enough for 2 day old chicken. The salads were $28 and with juice and a soda the bill was $45, my math is pretty good but cant figure that one out. My wife is currently in bed trying not to throw up and appears to have foos poisoning, we have a international flight in the morning :( . The gym has limited equipment and needs cleaning, the cable machine is broken leaving only dumbells for exercise. The room is ok but somewhat worn out. The Sheraton brand is slipping!
