They could show me the room displayed in the image but neither of the rooms I stayed in looked anything like the one above. Reception staff could not accurately direct me to my room despite it being quite a small motel. The quality of the rooms was poor. Some dubious stains on some of the furniture. I asked for my...

The pictures that are advertised on Expedia and other sites make this place look decent for a quick over nighter. I should have checked here! Driving up it didn't look like the most appealing, but after the nice talk with the front desk man I was a tad hopeful. Walking through the door to the hotel was absolutely shocking. Not...

This hotel is 1/2 star. I am very disappointed with hotwire putting this as a 2 star. Room is basic with one light fixture and a wall mounted ac unit. The hotel looks like it has not been renovated since the 1970's.

I am disabled, and upon check-in they knew that, but still put us upstairs. The hotel room was clean, and there weren't any bugs or anything, but the layout of the room was super weird, and to get to the bathroom we had to go through the closet. The shower was so gross, we didn't use it the whole time....

All furniture looked very old. Bathtub is broken. I borrowed a hairdryer from front desk but it was broken too. Stuff was helpful when I asked for another room to take shower. Although I have booked 2 nights and it was non-refundable, I checked out in the next morning.

I'm going to focus on the positive. The hotel was a short walk from The Teragram. Saw a great show last night. The staff was beyond friendly, no bugs, clean(ish) room, pool, a/c works, great rate, free wifi, free parking, quiet enough and silent after 11, and no one bothered our car. Target and plenty of places to eat just...

I stay here a lot because they are 1 of the few places in LA that doesn't have prejudice when checking in and they don't profile you. They work with you as long as your cool too. They don't trip on you unless you do something shady. Two thumbs up for this underdog hotel that is priced just right.

Never suggest this to anybody as it is not worth in any aspects. Untidy, terrible service, stinking rooms and corridors, lots of junk floating around everywhere, no coffee in room, unhygenic linen, no breakfast, Not cheap at all, for the kind of hotel it is.

It is totally different to the online photos, dirty. noising, could not sleep whole night, everything need to be upgraded and repaired, the windows and door can not be complete close, the air condition noise from next room so loud whole night, the bathroom sink and bathtub so dirty and old, very disappointed, never come again, will tell all friends...

This is really a motel. The place is rundown and in need of an update. It really is a no frills place to sleep. If you're looking for luxury and a spa getaway go pay the spa prices. If you're looking for a comfy bed in a place that's in a great location, then stay here. The beds were very...

Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown Los Angeles is a busy metropolis of towering buildings, bustling streets, and industrial warehouses. There is a distinct multiplicity of cultures here with a growing influx of business professionals and hipsters. Many call the evolution of Downtown over recent years gentrification. New lofts, bars, hotels and restaurants are popping up regularly. Downtown is home to some of the very best restaurants in the city leading the LA foodie scene, plus it is the location of cultural and sports venues including the Walt Disney Concert Hall, the Staples Center, and the Coliseum at the University of Southern California.
