Honestly, my wife and I were nervous to stay here our first night as we arrived late in the area did not look very secure or safe. In the end, we stayed three nights and never had an issue or heard a peep in the evening. The motel is definitely dated and our room had a musty smell to it,...

My girlfriend and I were looking for a cheap, clean, convenient motel in LA. Coral Sands was absolutely perfect. The room was comfortable, spotlessly clean and furnished with a perfectly good TV, kettle and (incredibly powerful) shower. Parking was really convenient, and we weren't bothered with noise in the night. Wifi is fast. The location is amazing - close to...

We arrived early and they graciously let us have an early check in. Each person we found at the entryway desk was interested in helping. Don't let the now white exterior keep you from finding this little place. We were definitely looking for yellow. The shopping center next door IS yellow. It is not a five star motel but it...

Very nice place, close to everything and nice to just hang out in the hot tub! Service was good, and at the front desk, Brian is great! We have stayed here before, he always remembers us and he is just the nicest person to deal with. We will be back.

Motel 6 quality badly needing a remodel- one could call it rundown. That said, a better quality in this good of a location would cost twice as much. Regarding the location, the property is 1 stop on the red line from Hollywood & Vine and 4 stops from Universal Studios. The south end of Griffith Park is less than 1/2...

What to expect: - Close proximity to Unviersal studio. I took uber to Universal studio and daily the cost was around $7-8 each way (much cheaper than parking my car there) - Free parking - Great housekeeping - Laundry room with microwave - Next to a supermarket What not to expect: - Fancy rooms - Modern amenities Overall, for the...

This place was absolutely perfect for our needs while staying in Hollywood; it was inexpensive, great location, clean, and cozy. The rooms were nothing fancy but just fine and comfortable to sleep in. Front desk staff was very nice and helpful. We would definitely stay again!

You cannot beat the price and location. Supermarket just around the corner (walk-able) for snacks/ fresh fruit. Fridge and coffee maker in room. Rooms are itty-bitty but very clean. We will absolutely be back! Very short drive to Universal/Hollywood walk of fame/etc.

Stayed for one night after we got into America, place was small and super relaxed, everything we like in a hotel. Spa was maybe a touch too hot, but that's picking at the tiny details. Would definitely recommend for anyone to enjoy relaxing away from the hustle and bustle.

Staying in Hollywood

Neighbourhood Profile
Hollywood undoubtedly conjures up images of movie stars and high-end lifestyles, and to this day, tourists flock here from around the world to see the iconic Hollywood Walk of Fame, Chinese Theatre and to catch a glimpse of the famed Hollywood sign up close. Celebrity impersonators and crowds give these areas the feeling of an amusement park while many clubs and hotels fill up around the weekends for late-night partying - the Hollywood club scene is a haven for thumping music and table-side bottle service. But parties aren’t the only way to enjoy this area, many visitors come to the neighborhood to sit back with a picnic to watch a performance at the Hollywood Bowl and those looking to stay fit trek along nature trails in the Hollywood hills and in Griffith Park.
