Venice Breeze Suites offers the discerning traveller an ideal location to explore Venice Beach and the surrounding areas of Los Angeles. WHAT'S GOOD?: The facilities provided for this apartment style living is excellent. The kitchenette has more equipment than my own! Includes dishwasher, waste disposal unit, fridge & freezer, pans, pots, crockery and cutlery. Plenty of room to prepare food... More

The room was clean and modern. The only thing I wasn't too keen on was that our room was right on the first floor. Which I guess made me feel safe since it was adjacent to the office but we couldn't open the windows or open the shades. We arrived in the evening and my daughter was a little creeped... More

The rooms are amazing and carefully designed to make you feel like home. Everything is clean, the bathroom and kitchen are brand new. Towels feel like new. The kitchen has everything, including plates and pots so you can cook and feel at home. The bed is comfortable. There is a very cute rooftop with comfy seating and a BBQ. And... More

Stayed here for 2 nights with my family. Very good stay, comfortable mattresses and we fit 4 adults in 1 room. Good shower, good wifi, very usable kitchenette, fantastic roof decking and best of all, ridiculously close to the beach. A couple hundred yards down to a few reasonable quality restaurants in one direction and a similar distance down to... More

While staying in Venice to go to an event, I stayed at Venice Breeze Suites. It is a old building. The boutique hotel that is located right on Venice Beach. Shuttle service from Los Angeles international Airport (LAX) to Venice Breeze Suites will cost about $18 US. Had no issues checking in. If you arrive early, they will store your... More

This is a well positioned place to stay on the boardwalk within walking distance of plenty of little shops and restaurants. The only reason I am giving 4 stars and not 5 is the no parking. But other then that the staff are lovely and the rooms are great.

We stayed here with our 2 families for 2 nights. It's an older building that has been beautifully restored: very clean, modern. Studio slightly tight but with kitchenette, sitting area, nice bathroom... I loved it! We had one with a view of the beach. Beautiful!! We spent a lot of time on the rooftop terrace which allowed to watch the... More

The only thing that sucks is the possibility to park the car. The rest is perfect. Big Thumbs up. The hotel have a really cool Rooftop, where you can bring your own drinks and chill up there. You stay directly at the Beach and there are a lot of funny people. To Walk to santamonica Pier is no problem

Comfortable, large room. Friendly and accommodating staff. Very nice rooftop terrace with unobstructed beach/ocean views and the possibility to bbq your own food. Very happy with the hotel. Must however admit that I did not find Venice Beach at all attractive (lots of dodgy characters around and a very "touristy" feeling to shops and restaurants at the boardwalk). A couple... More

Staying in Venice

Neighbourhood Profile
Venice
Venice has always danced to its own beat as the epicenter of bohemian culture in Los Angeles. Along the boardwalk there are street performers and local craftsmen selling their wares. Original paintings, souvenirs, and jewelry are on display. Crowds of visitors marvel at the sites while weightlifting enthusiasts pump iron in plain view, and skateboarders do their tricks around the skate park. All of it happens under the warm California sun with sprawling views of sand and sea. Heading east, the main drags of Abbot Kinney Boulevard and Main Street are lined with boutique shops, some major retail stores, art galleries and restaurants. Here the ambiance is more relaxed and upscale than the frenetic boardwalk area. Venice is a mostly walkable (and certainly bikeable) neighborhood, full of areas to explore.
