I really wanted to like this conveniently locationed B & B but left a bit disappointed in the morning. The inn is a beautifully restored home in the Bluff Heights district along Broadway which is busy commercial/residential area. Obviously a family run business, rooms were small but comfortable and decorated with early 20th century furnishings. Guest are welcome to use...

I recently stayed at the Beachrunner's Inn when attending a work conference at the Westin. I usually avoid staying at the conference hotel and like the vibe of a B&B or hostel instead. Beachrunner did not disappoint. I was grateful that the staff stayed up for my late (11:30 pm) arrival from LAX. The Inn has a spacious downstairs with...

Nice room, well maintained, clean, decent neighborhood, semi-convenient parking, useless wi-fi. I require a decent internet connection when I travel and the Beachrunners Inn failed, moreover when I asked them about it I got my equipment blamed. Both my laptop and my wife's worked perfectly before and after our stay at Beachrunners. If you don't need the internet, it's a...

Stayed here on the 4th of July this year - Long Beach itself was crazy but this place wasn't too busy which was nice! Luckily we had a car park out the back as it would have been impossible to get a park on the street. Room was nice (we had the smallest one) - very basic and a bit...

Alana, Thank your for your kind words and consideration of the fact that your visit took place during a busy holiday weekend. We want to advise that our Whole House Fan was installed in mid August, just weeks after your July 4th stay. This air cooling system is designed to provide relief from high tempreatures and increase the circulation of...

This is a difficult review to write. We've been going to this B&B for a number of years, off and on. It's located just a few short blocks from the beach and the breakfasts from the past were fresh, thoughtful and varied. Over the years, it changed. The word to describe the B&B now is tired. The energy that used...

We value feedback from our guests, especially those with whom we have history. We are particularly concerned when guests find a difference in their experience with us. Our most important asset continues to be our availability to guests, and our desire to meet specific needs or service requests. Our hot entree changes daily, frequently featuring vegan, gluten free, and cholesterol...

This was my second time staying at Beachrunners and was very glad to return. The property is two blocks from the ocean, beautifully appointed, and serves great breakfasts. Pat, the manager, is a local with wonderful insider knowledge of the area. She is also an avid traveler and brings to the Inn those elements she seeks when on holiday. Pat...

I'll try to be as objective as possible Pros: -Pat is a gracious B&B host. Very friendly and answered all our questions as this was our first time staying at a B&B. -Located within walking distance to the beach. It's a good 10 minutes. -Quiet neighborhood with disclaimer (see Cons) Cons: -THE SQUEAKY BEDS!!!! I can't believe nobody has mentioned...

My partner and I stayed here for NYE and wished we were staying longer. The property is immaculate and in a great residential location in long beach, 5-10mins walk to the beach and very close to local restaurants, shops and bars. The bedrooms are extremely comfortable, have all you need and are super clean. The breakfast selection was superb and...

Wonderful, warm & charming B&B in the heart of Long Beach with beach access 2 blocks away and the Queen Mary a short cab ride. Why rent a hotel room when you can stay in a beautiful, circa1940's home with history? The Hostess made sure everything was stellar! Will return soon!
