Hotel Maya was a very nice hotel. The rooms were big and very clean. Beautiful views of Long Beach, California and the Queen Mary. The grounds were well maintained and the pool area was clean and comfortable. Close to the downtown area. Walk to the Pike Outlets and the restaurants on Pine street. The Fuego restaurant is nice but a...

We booked Hotel maya as a starting point for our Carnival cruise on November 12th. We needed a hotel near the port for the night before and while we usually stayed at another nearby hotel decided to try a new one. Hotel Maya made it easy when I called with questions regarding the cruise and park package too. It is...

We booked this hotel for the night before our cruise. I did not have a lot of expectations other than somewhere to sleep. However, after arriving we took a stroll around the property and found our-selves sitting in front of a fire pit watching the waves come in. Very relaxing! The location is tricky to get to if you don't...

I stayed at this hotel for three nights while I was attending a conference. My room was large with plenty of room. I did have a room with a view of the water which was nice. The hotel has four buildings so if you are in building four you are in for a bit of a walk. The hotel was...

Nice big rooms for families. Stayed on first floor and was able to open patio doors and sit outside and let our two year old granddaughter run around, while we relaxed with a beautiful scene. Patio rooms had access to a walkway along the ocean, fire pits with comfortable seats surrounding them and sand areas. All these make your room...

So happy you had a great family stay! Many people love the ground floor rooms for exactly that reason....great for kids to run around our little private beach area and grassy grounds. Come back again soon!

If the old axiom holds true, then location, location, location can be either a positive or negative, depending on one's needs and expectations. This hotel must have been built in the 1930s or 1940s, and it was probably the playground of many of the day's celebrities. The reason I say this is because the decor and layout seem a little...

Imagine a beautiful, posh and unique resort. Then place it on an island and nestle it between shipyards. Now make the only way to get to it a winding road with 1000 wrong possible turns. Welcome to the Hotel Maya. Seriously though, it's an incredible property. It's gorgeous, plush and well maintained. It just happens to be in the worst...

Absolutely loved everything about this hotel. Great views! Fire pits are a nice touch when wanting to spend some time outside at night. Stayed in two room categories and both were beautiful and well taken care of. They offer a free shuttle around long beach and to the cruise terminal.

I was pleasantly surprised by this Long Beach gem. The modern feel and amazing staff made it a lovely weekend work trip. One tip: be sure to ask for a room away from the loud music/courtyard if you are sensitive to noise. The bar staff are helpful and the food quality is excellent. The rooms have excellent amenities and coffee....
