Comfort In is very well located close to the Lone Pine side gate of Death Valley National Park. The rooms are nice and the staff very welcoming. They have a good breakfast spread too, and the coffee is good. The small town on Lone Pine is gorgeous and you can also go for a walk towards Alabama Hills.

HOTEL’S FAVOURITE REVIEW

The hotel sits across the street from Mt. Whitney, you can't beat the view from the front of the property. The rooms are comfortable and clean, with microwaves and refrigerator. The air conditioning keeps the room warm during the cold nights, and cool in the warmth of the day. The bed allowed for a good nights rest before treking off...

It was a good spot, but lots of road noise being close to the highway. Also was a windy night and could hear the wind through the walls. The room was nice and warm and clean. Lobby help was very nice and attentive.

This place bailed me out, when I had to leave the Trails Motel (up the block), because of roaches and spiders. Luckily, they had a cancellation and were actually a bit cheaper with free breakfast thrown in, also. Noise levels were "ok" and the room was clean. Wifi worked well and the tv was nice. Only negative was that the...

Thank you very much for your recent stay! We are glad to have been of help for your lodging needs and we are very glad to hear that overall, you enjoyed your time with us! For the water temp varying, we are currently looking into that to get it corrected! Have a good day!

I decided to stay in Lone Pine and depart in the morning for Death Valley. I was delighted to see Red Rock State Park on and the snow capped eastern Sierras on my way. The Mt. Whitney Portal was very close by, but closed due to the large snowfall this year. My stay at the Comfort Inn was clean and...

I wish I could give half star ratings because I'd give Comfort Inn in Lone Pine a 3 1/2 stars instead of 4. The hotel is nice. It's on the outskirts of town, so be prepared to drive to grab dinner. (Not a bit deal.) Beds are comfortable. Our room had a handy USB port for plugging in phones to...

Stayed here while on holidays from Australia. We are a family of 4. Hotel is a little dated, but nice and clean. Breakfast was great and complimentary tea and coffee was also great for us. Was a little way out of town, but was only a couple of minutes drive.

My husband and I planned a Californian road trip to celebrate our silver wedding anniversary - and took our two grown children (I just couldn't leave them out of this exciting holiday!). We were warmly greeted by the Manager, Cianni - a delightful lady who clearly loves her job. She pointed out the fresh tea, coffee and lemon infused chilled...

The comfort was very nice and clean. They sold out because a biking event, someone cancelled and we got the room. Very nice staff, comfortable rooms, views of the mountains was an added bonus - beautiful. Breakfast was substantial. Would stay again if in the area.

While this hotel is certainly sufficient for a one night stay, we were a little disappointed by the degree of disrepair, with peeling and stained wall paper both in the common areas and the room itself, and a bit of mold around the shower/bath. The beds were comfortable enough, but not quite as nice as other hotels. The breakfast area...
