This is the nicest hotel for miles. New. Clean. Casino. A destination for this area. If you plan on being in the area this is a nice place to stop and stay to enjoy casino and hotel amenities. Have been there several times.

I was somewhat skeptical of staying in a casino hotel, but our friends said they have been there a number of times and recommended the hotel. We were not disappointed. A lot of nice features; granite counter in bathroom, micro and frig, spacious room and underground parking.

Very clean rooms, no view, but a great value. We had dinner at the casino and on Thursday nights they offer Pasta night, for one set price. It was amazing, best dish for pasta I have ever had, we a choice of many sauces.

Could not get refund for one couple who became ill 5 days ahead of arrival. We had 54 people on the trip and paid in advance. Looks like Bear River could have refunded $116 out of $3,357 pd. to this couple. The other hotels like Holiday Inn Express and Spring Hill Suites gladly provided a refund.

This Hotel and it's excellent dining room are a welcome addition for those traveling along the coast in far northern California. The hotel had everything one could ask for. Inside parking, efficient staff, super clean rooms and public areas, and an almost gourmet dining menu.
