We booked 2 nights at the Andiron for our 5th wedding anniversary, and were not disappointed. Upon reception,we were greeted by the fabulous owners, Scott and Madeline. We made it in time for the happy hour reception, with the best Sangria I've ever had and some tasty snacks. After a glass (or two) and chatting with the hosts, we made it...

I will preface this review by saying that Mendocino isn't "my" part of the coast. Sure, I grew up camping here and on the Sonoma coast as a kid, but as an adult, I've always gravitated more towards the accessibility of Marin or the relative affordability of Gualala and the Russian River area. The Mendocino coast seems to have a...

A great little place with helpful, accommodating staff. I love that the cabins each have their own theme. And with goats you can pet on site, what more can I say?! Also love the fun happy hours with wine and snacks. I'd definitely visit again.

The Andiron is a very relaxing and beautiful set of cabins with a friendly staff. Our Keeshond mix dog especially enjoyed the grounds. Our only reservation was that the bed in the Read cabin was uncomfortable (too hard a mattress) for my wife.

My wife and I stayed here for 3 days in October for her birthday. We were looking for a cabin we could bring our dog to that had some character. This met all of our goals. The best things: -The hot tub - beautiful, relaxing and fun -Customer service and care both before and during our visit - hospitality is...

My family and I stayed at the Andiron and had a fantastic time. The setting is beautiful and the staff are great. We stayed in the Nature/Nuture cabin and were so impressed with the impeccable details of the vintage design and the amenities. My sons enjoyed spending time with the goats and practicing archery, and the hot tub in the...

This is a lovely quirky place to stay. The cabins are great, the hot tub in the trees was amazing, there's plenty to keep you amused, the breakfast toast bar at the weekend is well tasty and the staff were very helpful. The wifi was free which was great especially seeing as there's no phone signal but it wasn't the...

I booked a weekend at The Andiron on a whim after seeing it featured on a Bold Italic article of unusual getaways. So glad I did! My partner and I stayed in the "Play" Room, which came equipped with word search wallpaper and vintage board games. Mod/vintage decor. We enjoyed little bites at the Happy Hour hosted by the lovely...

We stayed in cabin 9 which is one of the suites it's beautifully decorated in a mid century theme... The BBQ AND kitchen facilities are great.
