Beautiful views, comfortable rooms, clean beach, what more could you ask for? Our room was right on the beach, plenty of windows to see and hear the ocean. Excellent service! Anything you could possibly want, they would make it happen. Beach chairs, umbrellas, towels, room service - it was a wonderful place to stay!

The room was amazing, and the staff was very kind and courteous. We were given a complimentary upgrade which was phenomenal. Without asking, my luggage disappeared and magically showed up at my room after we got settled in. The staff called me by name as soon as I walked in, and if by some form of witchcraft. The room was...

I was in San Diego on business last year and stayed here for a few days. Beaches are wonderful. Rooms a bit small but well appointed. Friendly staff and very well maintained tennis courts. Lunch were pricey but food was good.

The property is very unique and it's wonderful to have a condo with direct access to a private beach. It's an interesting mix of upscale and outdated. The gift shop sells high end items and I know locals pay A LOT of money for memberships here. Yet the condos don't seem to have been updated much for at least a...

Arrived during the worst storm they'd seen in years, the car park was a swimming pool and we were unable to get to our room (for a few hours) as the access was underwater. Staff were very friendly and welcoming, despite having to battle the elements and for this they can only be congratulated. Stayed for two nights in a...

You must first just ask yourself, what matters more, having a room with up-to-date decor, or a room with a perfect ocean view, and a door that practically opens on the sand. For me, I'll make an exception and overlook the tired decor of the rooms at The Beach and Tennis Club to enjoy the glorious proximity to the beach...

Loved the location. Best beach access I have seen from a California motel/hotel. Staff is great and super friendly. The main drawback is condition of the rooms; they are very tired and dated, but beach-front properties do get beat up pretty quickly.

The grounds at LJBTC are beautiful and the hotel opens up right onto the beach. We were surprised at how private the resort was (we had to check in at the front gate, etc.). The club is within close walking distance to shops and restaurants and the boardwalk. We had a lovely time and would stay there again should we...

Excellent property. The beach location is second to none. My wife and I went with a group of couples and had a fantastic time. We would highly recommend the beach BBQ. The hotel set up tables and chairs, two grills, a fire pit, and provided us with firewood. We purchased our own food at a local supermarket, and cooked it...
