This place is a gem! The room was spotless and reminded me of an old time b&b decoration wise. After camping for weeks, this place was a welcome respite! The owner was really nice. The breakfast was nice, and had some healthy options. Great location! Would recommend!

What a great place to stay. The staff was awesome and the room was clean and adorable. It also smelled really good. Super cute. I was greeted by name when I checked in and felt very comfortable. Expanded continental breakfast included fresh hard boiled eggs and cottage cheese and fruit.

My son and I stayed here for 4 nights while we visited the redwoods. The owner/host was very nice, the rooms were very clean. Continental breakfast was always fresh and well served with a nice lounge room. I was not sure what to expect for the price and was very pleasantly surprised. Definitely would stay here again. I would have...

Reasonable prices for a really nice stay. My husband and I chose Ravenwood for our family of four. It was a perfect place as a base for our stay in the Redwood Forrest. Two comfortable futons gave each of our kids their own beds. The place was very clean and comfortably furnished. Nice owner and nice breakfast. The only reason...

We stayed here 4 years ago and loved it. Came back to hike in the Redwoods and explore the coast. Perry, the owner, is like an old friend. He suggested places we could hike without seeing a lot of people. He has a terrific breakfast every morning in a nice room. The room is very clean and comfortable. The bed...

From my first call to this place, I wondered if we were making the right choice. The person on the phone seemed to have an attitude like I was taking him away from his favorite TV show. The room was about as barebones as you can imagine. It had a computer monitor for a TV(maybe 19"), no AC, Tub leaked...

We happened on to this motel quite by accident and we sure were happy we did. The owner was so kind and the room was clean, quiet and exactly what we wanted. A wonderful small town with very nice people and we hope to go back one day and we would no doubt stay at this motel.

I was so happy to stumble across this gem while searching for a place to stay. It was comfortable and really just perfect for what I needed. The man behind the desk was really great and helpful. It felt good to stay somewhere that was quality and not a chain. The breakfast was excellent as well. Hope to stay here...

I don't normally review hotels/motels where I had a one night stay, but we stayed at a lot of places during our 2 week trip down the coast and this one really stood out. The folks working the front desk were very friendly and accommodating. We were the only two people staying there that night (peaceful!) yet they still set...

I stayed in Ravenwood for a couple of nights and really enjoyed it. I wanted to hike in the Redwoods State Forest and this was the perfect location. Perry who owns the place is lovely and happy to tell you everything you need to know about the area. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The breakfast spread is great. If...
