Definitely take in the "historic" qualities of this Inn! The old wooden building and "antique-y" decor add to the ambience, and it's fun to read and look at the memoriabilia in their main living room space. It's also wonderful to find out more about the Yurok Indian history in the area, and to know that the family who now owns...

We stayed at Requa for one great night on a trip north from San Francisco. Lodging doesn't impress from outside, but is wonderful inside. Old wood, lots of character, cozy living room. Our room had a view of the river, which led to great bird views and the chance to watch the fishermen roar down the river. The host was...

This property and its owners are truly wonderful. We stayed two nights at the Requa Inn and had dinner there both nights. The property is just as advertised, a century old and authentic. We stayed in #6 and #20, both facing the riverside. The rooms are great, clean, quaint and comfortable. Not many frills- but very nice. Number 20 is...

Finding a place to stay is limited when you are driving the Oregon/N. California Coast. I decided to book the Historic Requa Inn based on reviews on this site. Also, it was a strategic stop for our 2-day drive to Yosemite from there. My first impression was not typical of the warm greeting we have received at most of the...

What a great place right on the river. We flew in to Portland and drove down to see the redwoods, not really sure what to expect from this ancient B&B run by members of the original indian tribe. No A/C had us worried, as that is typically a good indicator of how well kept up a hotel is. But they...

We stayed at the Requa Inn for 5 days. The place and people are lovely. We weren't able to enjoy ourselves fully because we found it very difficult to sleep. The building is historic and the walls are thin. The rooms are hot and there isn't air conditioning. I think if they simply installed window A/C units they would get...

We stayed 5 nights. The Requa Inn is a perfect "base" for visiting the Redwood National & State Parks -- it's located in the middle of the long north-south park layout. Breakfasts and dinners were great. Lots of history to the Inn, and the view overlooking the natural beauty of the Klamath River is fantastic.

We needed a hotel near crescent city for a one-night-stay and booked Requa Inn. From outside it looked a bit old and dusty, although the view is superbe. But as soon as we entered, we felt like home. Geneva at the reception was really nice, there were homemade cookies. The rooms are great. Ours was looking over the parking but...

We pulled into the driveway of the Requa House and my usually jaded teen-aged daughter ran around the wraparound porch yelling and screaming with joy. THAT by itself made this delightful property 5 stars even before we opened the door and entered the house. The Requa Inn is your typical historic bed and breakfast right by the Klamath River. It...

Spent one wonderful night at the Historic Requa Inn on our way from San Francisco to Portland. Our room (#6) was lovely, with a fantastic river view. Breakfast was delicious & plentiful. Sadly, we missed the dinner because the chefs were off that night. We sat on the porch and watched the moon rise over the Klamath... only to see...
