Historic inn in pleasant setting overlooking Klamath River and near National and State Redwood Parks. Current owners get an A for effort but C for results - staff and infrastructure are stretched to limits. Service at meal times can be very spotty - inefficient and harried. Communication among staff is stretched and given the historic, remote location, modern conveniences are...

This is a great reminder to all guests- The Requa Inn is a historic building in the middle of the Redwood National park. We will celebrate our 100th birthday next year and we understand that historic buildings and forest settings are not for everyone. We try hard to describe how cozy the rooms are on the non-River side of the...

Stayed in the Post office cottage. I think there must have been an old pair of shoe's left there from years ago. The room stunk... dinner for two? More like a meal for an infant.. I think I had more food stuck in my teeth, from lunch, then what was provided in the so called 4 course meal.. I would...

Oh no! We are so sorry you weren't satisfied with your stay here. We wish that you would have shared your concerns while you were here, so we could have made amends when we had you here with us. As you know, this is a family owned and operated Bed and Breakfast- we work hard to accommodate needs, and only...

We just got back from a trip out to the west coast. We stayed at the Requa Inn for one night of our trip. Such a charming little B&B that sits up on the bluff overlooking where the Klamath river meets the Pacific Ocean! A quick uphill run to one of the most beautiful lookouts! A short drive a way...

We stayed for two nights. One night on the river side. One night on the backside. Like night and day. If you can afford it go for the river side, the rooms are much larger and the entire experience is enhanced. The owner and staff are all incredibly helpful and friendly and the downstairs atmosphere is extremely warm and inviting,...

This is our 3rd stay at Historic Requa Inn at the Stout Grove room for my son and myself. We enjoyed the Requa inn and especially the chef's dinner in which the chef presents each course from the appetizer to the entrée which was a perfectly tender salmon, exquisitely presented as the chef explained what the food items were. Since...

We spent Memorial Day Weekend with the wonderful folks at the Requa Inn. We chose it due to its great location for exploring the Redwood Parks and since we love history. It was the perfect choice for both of those reasons but the food and service we fantastic. As others have said this is a very old hotel. Still much...

The Historic Requa Inn has been lovingly restored to its early-20th Century appearance with period furnishings. We looked into nearly every room and discovered that those on the river side are larger and have better views than those across the hall. All rooms are on the second floor, and we did not see an elevator, so it's probably not a...

This was our second stay and we came back for the fantastic dinners. I am making this my favorite restaurant. I spent a lot of the time just peeking at the chefs and their beautiful work, especially with vegetables and local items. So creative and satisfying! I agree with the one reviewer who found it tedious to be forced to...

We are so happy you love the dinners! We are so sad you hated the coffee- we purchase free trade organic coffee from local area roasters Since your stay, we have changed to a different local, organic roaster - I apologize if we discounted your comments on how terrible the coffee was, we do try to find the very best...

We selected this Inn due to the Tripadvisor ratings. We stayed two nights while hiking the Redwoods. It had been since we were kids since we last visted the North Coast of CA, so we had no idea what to expect. Being from the NW, we are used to having a selection of well improvised coastal town when we visit...

My Brother and I stopped in Requa, after the motel in Klamath turned down cash payment. We were backpacking from Sacramento along the highways for the last 2 months- and we had just been shook down at gunpoint by the Wonderful Redwoods National Park LE. Klamath "Reservation" (the gas station on the highway with the neighborhood surrounded by a cyclone...
