Everything about this place is horrible mold grows on everything, there heating system sucks so everything is always cold and on top of that that manager of the place is drunk 24/7 and the owner is very disrespectful and harasses people. Not to mention a 9year old girl died there that he doesn't tell you! Just a horrible horrible place.

Once upon a time this place was awesome. It was built in the 20's and it shows. There are huge holes everywhere, overgrowen grass and thick moss growing on the roofs. The carpet was so dirty that it was crunchy and the watter ran rusty for the first 10 minutes. The management were nice but their perception of cleanliness is... More

What a great place, especially travelling with dogs! My son and I - and the dog, of course - combined our summer coast trip with redwoods and this place is perfect! The owners are dog lovers themselves, and just about the nicest people you'll ever meet. Kim is a wealth of information on the area and where to go off... More

If you plan on bringing your dog, this is good option for the low budget, low rent district. Very knowledgeable and friendly hosts, rooms are well kept, each with fridge, SAT TV, and indoor bath.

We had the opportunity to rent a garden cottage over the 4th of July weekend. The cabin was in excellent shape and clean. It not only had the appliances but also eating utensils and pots and pans to cook in. Only draw back was no coffee pot. Staff was friendly and helpful. If you want to spend time in the... More

The Lodge at Camp Marigold should be condemned. It has visible mold and mildew, on the ceilings, walls and floor. The carpeting in the bathroom was peeled back, revealing mold, the wallpaper, covered in mildew. It was musty smelling, and covered with dust and cobwebs. We spotted 3 black widow spiders within 20 minutes of our stay. We managed to... More
