    the hotel has awesome huge baths with various types of onsen waters with different benefit properties. the whole place is rather old and dated though, the entire pace sells like sulfur due to the onsen waters. we stayed at the east wing, traditional japanese rooms....More

    The onsen is awesome! Lots of 'onsen pools'. Fabulous kaiseki dinner - lots to eat. Room was comfortable with Japanese futon. Check out 'Hell Valley' and try to do some of the walks - great scenery Will definitely go back to do more exploring.

    As far as I know, the yukatas in the rooms that we booked only had adult yukatas. Maybe you can make a request when you are doing your booking. Not sure about the buffet charges for children.

    Google for the train schedule to noboribetsu. The advise is to stay for one more night at Sapporo. As Noboribetsu is quite rural and not sure is there transport to bring you to the station unless the hotel can arrange... More
