One of the oldest guesthouses on Victory Hill - and it's beginning to show its age. Tatty, dirty, grubby rooms; basic appliances (like fans) that don't work. All this (and more) gives the impression that the owners have finally given up the ghost.

The Mealy Chenda does not have 24 hour reception but that isn't a problem. The place employs a very affable security guard who sleeps by the gate. As far as I'm aware, there are televisions in every room.
