Maybe other rooms are nice but the family room is absolutely not worth $97 a night. Bathroom door was broken, mouldy smell (not rainy season), dated tacky decor, and the window was against a brick wall so the room was super dark.

If you can not speak Khmer do not worry. You will not be able to understand the staff when they speak about you as if you are an animal. My wife does speak Khmer and we had to move out. The place has had better days and numerous managers. A bit ratty now. We went to a much better part...

We've stayed at the Coolabah 3 times now, and it is still the best place to stay in the beach area of Sihanoukville. A great location, just a couple of hundred metres walk to the beach - either down along Serendipity Beach Road, or along Ochheuteal Street, and just a step around the corner from dozens of great bars and...

I stayed here for 3 nights with a couple of friends, we were all in standard double rooms. After a long drive in from Phnom Penh we found the front desk staff to be polite and friendly. The check-in process was quick. The location is close to the beach, but just off the main road where all the noisy bars...

My family and I intended to spend 4 days on Koh Rung Samloem, near Sihanoukville, in the gulf of Thailand. I had reserved two rooms at the Coolabah for our return to the mainland to rest before driving home to Siem Reap. The key here is "driving." We had our car but didn't know where we could park it during...

Friendly staff. Lovely clean rooms excellent food and in a great location could not fault the place, will definitely stay again I,ve stayed at 3 three different hotels in snooky now and this is by far the best. Five minute walk to the beach and the docks for your boat trips to the islands and minutes from the centre of...

I saw this place had some accolades from TripAdvisor so I thought it would be a sure shot. I couldn't have been more wrong. It was about as bad as it could get. The sheets had sand and some kind of red substance in them so you know they haven't been changed. The bathroom, specifically the shower, was absolutely disgusting....

About 10 minutes from the beach. Can't fault the location. Staff are friendly and helpful. Where improvement is necessary is in the lack of modernisation and maintenance. The hot/cold water mix was not working properly, and was either too hot or too cold, and the water pressure was very low. This could not be repaired over two days. On my...

Stayed here for a week. Great staff, friendly and helpful and had breakfast every morning! I just seemed to be able to hear every door bang and people outside! Not really hotels fault but just spoilt it slightly for me.

This place has the fastest wifi I have even seen - 20MB up and downloads. The staff even put in a dedicated LAN line into my room for me as I was staying for business visits periodically. If there is any issue with the room such as air con leaks, they rush to fix it immediately. Further, this hotel has...
