My parents have been staying at the Falling Waters for years. My parents love river fishing and this is the place to do it! For fathers day, my husband and I decided to accompany my parents to Kern for a fishing weekend. It was a lot of fun. I took my dog with me and she was so very welcomed. There...

My mom. sister and myself stayed 2 nights and the Falling Waters RR, formerly the Lazy River Lodge. We had many fond memories of the place. They have remodeled the rooms and gave them each a theme. We stayed in the Nile. It was 107 this particular weekend and the AC was having a difficult time keep the room cool...

We spent a few lovely days at the Falling Waters River resort on our Californian travels. Our room ,no 27, was at the end of the litle avenue of semi detached cabins. Our cabin had a lovely victorian bedroom theme, with a four poster bed, and net drapes. a great deal of thought has gone into creating the theme, witrh...

We arrived at night only to wake up, walk outside and wonder where the heck we were. There were plastic flowers in some areas, old buses and old vehicles parked on the property. The kids' play area was dirty, run down and had some type of old equipment stored next to it. I would only let my child play there...

Falling waters had everything. It was right next to the river and an absolute joy to stay there. Whatever other folks have said in the past about locks, ants, etc. is not really relevant now as the place is in GREAT shape. I wholeheartedly recommend Falling Waters to anyone visiting the Kern River Valley.

This place was amazing in various ways! The room was close to a river and had its own patio. We felt we were on the river constantly...heard the water and felt really out in the wilderness. The room was comfortable and rustic. Every need was met, and felt I was staying in a comfortable lodge. I like to cook and...

We stayed here for the first 3 nights of our California tour. The room was shabby. The door didnt lock properly (we discovered this by accident) and they had to replace lock. The kitchen had a serious ant problem which we discovered on the 2nd morning when we opened the food cupboard!! It hadn't been cleaned properly. The only saving...

We just stayed at Falling Waters over Thanksgiving for 3 nights and it was more then we anticipated. We stayed in Room 24 which was more like a small self sufficient cabin although they call them rooms. Each room/cabin is decorated differently, each having their own theme. Our theme was "Roses Forever". When we first entered we were so enchanted...
