Shared a wonderful weekend with friends! Everything was great, room, location, BBQ's, staff and the river. Room 114 had a nice kitchenette with everything you need. Store and restaurant across the street.

We stayed one lovely night on our way to the Grand Canyon. The rooms have kitchenettes and were very clean and spacious. It is a nice place to stay on the river. The owners were very nice. Breakfast at the general store across the street is also good. We would recommend staying here.

This place was a wonderful surprise! This was just about as perfect a spot to hang out for a few days as one can imagine. Swim and pan for gold in the river with the kids, visit the giant sequoias, grill up some burgers, and sit around the fire pit and chill and enjoy the fantastic mountain views. The caretakers...

this is a nice little place. Ask for rooms with the kitchen, otherwise the rooms are a little small. The price is very reasonable compared to others in the area. It's about 2-3 miles out of town but an easy drive. The river is right out back 50 yards maybe?

We ended up just driving to Kernville during our trip in CA and stumbled upon the Sequoia Lodge! The lodge was very clean and the staff was great! The surroundings is something out of a movie and the town itself is cute and quaint. We only stayed one night but they were so accommodating and friendly. We really enjoyed the...

We spent 4 nights here. We loved it! The river is so close we loved spending our time there. Just down a set of stairs, a very short path and you're there. The water is so clear and refreshing. This place is a rustic but perfect. We got a single queen, it was a little tight but we were only...

My husband and I spent a weekend in March. Ron and Deanna were wonderful - warm, welcoming and attentive, without being intrusive. Loved the beautiful deck, fire pit, flowers, river nearby and our hosts! :) Would love to go back - highly recommended.

We were not looking for super fancy, just clean with a comfortable bed and we got that. The fact that the management was super friendly and it was just lovely and in a great location was such a PLUS. Take a walk to the river out back, so nice. The king size bed was comfy.

We stayed at the Sequoia Lodge for 2 nights and loved it. What a beautiful area! The lodge is next to the Kern River and so we walked along the river enjoying an incredible amount of wildlife. ..birds, butterflies, lizards, squirrels. ...so much to see. An hour away via a stunning drive are the stunning Giant Sequoias...it really is a...

We stayed in cabin #17- the best! Nice kitchette, two queen beds, nice bathroom with toiletries. The grounds are beautifully kept and blend into the natural surroundings of the river and mountains! The views from our room were seen from 3 different vantage points-beautiful and serene. This is the most relaxing and private place around. There is a general store...
