This was our first time at a Bed and Breakfast experience and it was a memorable one. We stayed in the “Apple Sweet”, and it was a very nice room. We spent our 31th anniversary together here and found it to be a very quiet, relaxing, and enjoyable place. The grounds are well kept, yet still lend themselves to the...

I called for reservations on Friday for Saturday. Very professional as to what was available and pricing. Booked the Rosebud Cottage and received confirmation with directions to this B & B via email that afternoon. Upon arrival, check in was professional and very well done explaining how the wood stove operates and various features of the room. The room was...

My wife and I enjoyed our stay at the Butterfield Bed and Breakfast. We stayed for three nights in the Feathernest room, which is their smallest but the only one available at the time. But it was, as they say, quite cozy. The bed was a little smaller than we like but it's a small room and worked out fine....

We found this B & B from TA and we were not disappointed. I reserve "excellent" reviews for only the best properties so please don't mis-interpret my rating. We arrived late so the keys and instructions were posted on the outside of the inn. Found everything that we needed and enjoyed the Rosebud Cottage. Used my Boy Scout skills to...

First, let me say I can't see making Julian a regular getaway. It was a nice place, very relaxing, but I feel once you've visited the town, you've done all there is....at least for a drive as far away as LA. But, my wife and I did love the Butterfield Bed and Breakfast. The property is very well kept, there...

What a quaint and beautiful place this is. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The room was so nicely decorated and incredibly comfortable. The wood-burning fireplace in the room was the perfect touch. Outside the scenery was so pretty and the surroundings really peaceful. Breakfast was delicious, and the hospitality unbeatable. We will definitely be coming back!

This homey little B&B made a relaxing, small town getaway. The room (Rosebud) was very comfortable; it had a futon for a couch a wood-burning iron fireplace, plus all the amenities necessary for a weekend getaway. We celebrated a Valentines Day, Birthday, Presidents Day weekend combo and it worked out great. The owners, Ed and Dawn, make a hearty breakfast...

“The Butterfield B&B is located on a quiet road with no distractions and it is very quiet. Since the facility is over 80 years old, it has a rustic noises and the wood beams creek, so if you are a light sleeper, you might want to have ear plugs or light the fire with a crackling log.”
