Great little set up with full kitchen, bath, and Romy living and sleeping area. The grounds are pleasant to spend time in after a day in the desert. Nearby residents that are good: Crisis Café for breakfast/lunch, 29Palms Inn for dinner

We had an excellent couple of nights staying in suite 3 at Spin and Margie's. The accommodation was really well done, with some good use of space and neat decor. The private outdoor space was great - good for sunset in the evening and breakfast in the morning. The wider grounds that surround the suites are really well done, and...

The room and facilities at Spin and Margies was excellent, we were comfortable and it was a great space inside and out including cooking our own food. We used the property as a great base for our hiking trip in the wonderful Joshua Tree National Park

We stayed for two nights and had a wonderful time. Inn Keepers are friendly and very helpful. Location offered close proximity to town and Joshua Tree National Park. The Inn is a great place to look at the stars at night. We booked two suites and both were clean and the beds very comfortable. Would stay here again if we...

Our experience was a little unusual because we saw no one at the Hideaway during our. Spin and Margie were gone, presumably taking a vacation. CJ made sure the unit, #4, was open, but we never saw her and there were no other guests. A very quite getaway, which we enjoyed. We hiked trails at Joshua Tree, which we loved,...

We've spent 4 nights at Spin and Margie's and it was absolutely perfect. The Village of Joshua Tree, full of great eateries and coffe houses in like 5 km away, and so is the Visitors Center. We had the Desert Nomad suite, incluiding large bedroom/livingroom, fully equiped kitchen, bath tub ánd shower. We always left early (around 7.30 am) to...

Great place for a quiet and restful stay. Perfectly situated between gates into Joshua Tree National Park, and convenient to both Joshua Tree and Twenty Nine Palms. Spin and Margie make you feel like family. Definitely will be back!!

Maybe the best place we stayed in our Californian tour. The suite itself (we stayed in no. 1 - four of us, which was a little cramped but quite fine - was gorgeously equipped, full of lovely little arty touches - the very opposite of mass-produced hotelery. The a/c struggled mightily against the colossal heat outside and it was still...

This group of bungalows are tucked away from the road and offer the true "getaway" feel. We stayed in #3. It was spotless. It had a comfortable queen bed with another convertible sofa in the next room. There was a kitchen with coffee, tea, and all the basics of a furnished apartment. There was also a common area outside to...

We absolutely loved our stay. The accommodations aren't fancy, but are drenched with desert atmosphere--corrugated steel, painted tiles, plantings galore, desert photos, funky barbed wire art, and the location--750 feet off the road, with only Joshua Tree park behind. Every night at sunset, we'd take our drinks and amble a couple of steps up the sand road beside the place...
