We had lunch at River's End Resort. I was disappointed that they did not have clam chowder on the menu. The special of the day was crab cakes and both my husband and I decided to try them. We were disappointed that there was only one crab cake and three pea pods apiece for $20.00 each. Bread was an extra...

My partner and I stayed in one of the River's End cabins and had dinner at their restaurant. We came to River's End for the unplugged vibe (no wifi), the food and the views. However, if you have a resort with no wifi...perhaps try having a landline phone in the room or at least keep someone on site who can...

Great decks with amazing views, cozy rooms, private beach and awesome restaurant.....what more could you ask for? The location is sublime. If you are from the Bay Area this is a great staycation and close to get to.

Fantastic roon below restaurant. Some slight noise until about 8 pm. Fantastic views of beach especially from deck and shower. Walked on beach to see dozens of sea lions scross the river. Would have been 5 stars if wifi was present.

We have eaten at their restaurant many times over the years and have always been pleased. Although now they have added more tables and increased prices. So it is not the values it once was. But, the real crime is what they offer with their cabins. Their New York City room prices do not conform to the noisy room with...

We stayed in cabin/room 5 for one night. I loved being up above the estuary and bird sanctuary. I spent most of my time on our private deck watching the birds on the water and the hummingbirds right near our room. Walking down to the beach area you can also watch the harbor seals that spend time here. Having a...

A few changes could really make this a much better experience. Fresher linen colors and new carpet or something that doesn't make you feel like you are in a dungeon. The view from the back of the patio is great but Cabin 3 is so small that I don't think it is accurately represented on the website. If you must...

So I love the restaurant so we decided to stay. Very nice, clean, friendly and the views are amazing. I would recommend not staying in the room under the restaurant, its not that bad, but wouldn't be my first choice. Make sure and enjoy the food. If having dinner, eat early or late as they get packed. It really is...

This place is perfect for us when we just want to come out and spent the night (or two) out at the ocean and completely disconnect from our busy lives. It's the view and quiet cozy simple surroundings that make this place a real jewel.
