Historic and charming hotel in historic and charming Jamestown: old buildings, wood sidewalks, interesting shops, pretty Golden State vistas. The hotel features gorgeous original hardwood floors; a beautiful original bar - ask to see the Prohibition-era "speakeasy." Very friendly and competent staff. Very clean hotel....More
My wife and daughter and I stayed here for two nights at the end of May on our way to explore Yosemite. The hotel is really characterful - all Victorian colonial style full of antique furniture. The staff were really helpful and friendly especially Daniel...More
Nice bar, dating back to the 1850s. Cozy, comfortable room. Pleasant 2nd story porch. Great breakfast buffet. Friendly employees. It was an excellent choice--unique, historic, memorable, on Main Street, with easy parking.

Thank you for considering us. Parking is off premises, either in the parking lot next door, or on the street which most consider to be quite safe. This hotel pre-dates automobiles and the old horse stable still stands, less than a block away. We have on occasion, parked bikes or a show car in our driveway. This would not be a big problem.
Hope that this helps.
