We stayed at this hotel on Labor Day after most of the crowds had gone. It is an historic inn that has been beautifully restored with each room being differently furnished. We stayed in the Jenny Lynn room that had a comfortable king bed and a queen bed in a separate bedroom. The baths are modern but with historic tile...

Wow, this hotel is a gem! The staff is friendly and helpful, the food is great and the rooms are very cool. We loved the historic decor of this place. We reserved the king suite with a common balcony just outside our door. The balcony is an excellent place to hang out and people watch while enjoying a beer. I...

The owners have spared no expense in remodeling the rooms in this beautiful old hotel. The decor was very tasteful, bed super comfortable, and spacious bathroom and seating area. There are no TVs in the room, but they do have wifi. It's a very old building so you can hear a lot of noise from adjacent room(s) and hallway, but...

Jamestown Hotel was a real highlight of our 3 and a half week holiday in various parts of the USA, so much so that we wished we had stayed here for longer! Jamestown is a very small town located within California's 'gold country' countryside. The main street of the town has a few small stores and shops, a small wine...

From breakfast to dinner we have good luck dining here. This most recent trip included grilled oysters that were the best we have tried anywhere. Excellent steaks and pasta dishes too. We have stayed in the hotel on two occasions as well. Cool place but just remember this is an 1850's gold rush town and not a large modern city.

Located in an old gold mining town, Jamestown Hotel was totally enjoyable. Arriving in the afternoon we had time to visit Gianelli tasting room across the street & enjoy a bottle of wine sitting on the upstairs porch. The hotel has a nice bar & great restaurant. Evening was filled with music from Train & English Beat at Ironstone in...

Stayed here for just one night (sadly), wished we could have stayed longer. On our road trip though the West this was by far the best hotel, not that the others were bad, this one is outstanding. The rooms, the food, the atmosphere were all excellent. As was Charlie (the owner) and his team. If we are ever back that...

Welcome/Check-in:- warm friendly and efficient Bedroom:- room 8 Jenny Lind -large comfortable King double with ceiling fans and a separate double bedroom included-ideal for families, next to the upstairs front balcony for morning coffee or just watching the world go by. The staircase is steep and long -do not bring too much heavy luggage with you, we had just taken...

This hotel, although being very old is one of the nicest hotels we've seen. It is well maintained and rennovated just so that it does not lose its old western flare. Very reasonable prices with spacious accomodations and great hospitality and service. I would recommend to anyone traveling to/from the Yosemite Park area. The ride from Jamestown to Yosemite is...

Just returned from a wonderful 5 day stay at the Jamestown Hotel. We were married here in 1985 and the hotel maintains that historic charm while having been updated rooms and airconditioning! Kim and Charley are the perfect hosts, along with the front desk being manned by Coco Chanel and Gracie, the resident chocolate labs! Every one on the staff,...
