A group of friends drove to the lake for the day and we rented a Pontoon boat. It was brand new, great condition. We had a great time. The owner (Mike) was a nice guy and very detailed in what was expected of us while on the boat. I would recommend renting a boat from here if you're visiting the...

I hate seeing negative reviews about such a wonderful, fun and cool/ easy place like Lake Tulloch. When we think to go on a quick and easy/ fun family camping trip...we think of Lake Tulloch. From basic camping to cute little cabins to gorgeous lake front rentals and easy boat rentals etc... what else do you need? This is a...

This was our first rv trip and we decided to stay here on the way to Yosemite as this place is way cheaper than Yosemite and also in terms of weather conditions. The spot is lovely, we had great neighbours and enjoyed the experience. However the facilities are old and outdated and we have been glad to have a fully...

OK we get a new camper. Want to go somewhere SPECIAL. driving by the N side of this lake is beautiful, picture perfect. So I call. I am told about the prices and the extra cost for our little yorkies. NO PROBLEM. We arrive and the view is not as beautiful as the N side but still pretty. So we...

Stayed for 1 night in an RV en route to Yosemite. Whole site was somewhat unloved, with some very old permanent lodges that looked ready to fall down. Sites very close to each other. Very dusty. Shower ($1 for 5 mins) was almost cold (impressive given it was 98 degrees outside). RV sites had hookups but again unloved - the...

This is a wonderful campground, with lots of big shady trees and large campsites. Each site has a picnic table, fire pit and storage locker. There are bathrooms with hot water, and coin operated showers, Popular with fisherman and bird watchers, this campground is near the historic town of La Grange, just off of Highway 132 near Lake Tulloch itself....

Layout can trap towed trailers in cabana sites. Bathroom toilets overflowing; this in early Spring. Can't imagine high summer. Outhouse disgusting. Showers lukewarm. Owner has lots of deferred maintenance to address. Price too high. Definitely not a quiet lake - lots of jet skis, boom boxes, and young males high on testosterone. Beautiful scenery. Lots of birds. Where are the...

We enjoyed our recent stay at Lake Tulloch RV Campground but there were a few issues. There was a loud party going on in one of the cabins. The partiers had the parking lot blocked so you could not drive through. They were about 20 young people partying at one cabin. The staff was very friendly and helpful but did...

DO NOT rent a boat from Bev's - I think they are running a scam - they charge people for damages to boats when the renters have not caused the damage - We rented a pontoon boat from them on Saturday (8/6/11) - to make a long story short, they accused us of causing damage to the propellor, which we...

“Some of the campsites are separated from other nearby campsites with trees and shrubs, that's nice. But they are all good.”
