We stayed in updated room #7. Nice bathroom but could use more water pressure. Floor is wood so take slippers as it is very cold even now in April. The heater works very well though. It had everything we needed, was a stand alone cabin...More
Returned for a short visit to attend Idyllwild Film Festival. Fern Valley Inn owners have been very busy. We got to experience the newly remodeled room #7. Outstanding improvement! Modern fixtures, updated decor and colors, new linens and window treatment, very nice. Gary says the...More

Just booked cottage 6 for my husband's 50th, but saw a review about construction. Where was it on the property? Hopefully not at this cottage.

Parking for #6 is directly off of Fern Valley Rd and in front of the cottage. So you don't have to cross through construcroon to enter this cottage from the assigned parking spot. However, if you walked to anywhere, other than the office, from #6 you would have to cross over ditches and construction tape. It's been almost all months since we stayed the first weekend in June. Maybe construction is complete. I would call and ask. Best of luck to you.
