I stay about once a month in the El Centro area, and unfortunately will never stay at the Imperial Palms/Barbara Worth Hotel. I booked my room nearly two weeks in advance. Selected a "newly remolded" room with a view of the golf course. When I arrived, the room looked very nice, but the room had not been cleaned, no sheets...

We came here for my wife's 50th high school reunion. The hotel was a real disappointment. It is supposedly under new management that has refurbished all the rooms but it still feels fairly shabby. The tiny bathroom needs safety bars in the shower. There are no towel racks, just some hooks on the wall. The beds were large but uncomfortable...

We have been staying in this hotel for many years. It was closed for a while but now the new owners are rehabilitating and upgrading! We stayed in one of the "new" rooms. It was comfortable; the bed was great; new tv and furniture; and the "new" bathroom was great. The golf course has been revitalized; the largest conference center...

We stayed here few years ago and we were not satisfied back than but decided to give one more opportunity since we visit family members in Holtville. What a big disappointment to see same poor condition rooms with old carpet, wall cover is peeling, dirty bathroom, unpleasant odor in room and noisy air condition. Restaurant was closed but bar was...

The Imperial Palms Resort at Barbara Worth is under new ownership(?) and they're making overdue changes. Rooms are under renovation. The newly renovated rooms are nice, but the decor is a bit '70's looking with turquoise drapes and padded turquoise closet doors and head boards. A bit Las Vegas like. The beds are just comfortable. Plenty of pillows(4), but not...

This is my second time staying here . The hotel staff are so friendly and personable . Had dinner in the bar and the food was excellent as well as the service. You have to try the buffalo chips they are addicting . The refrigerator in the room did not work so when I mentioned it to the front desk...

Since we had stayed here many years ago, we knew this is not really a resort but we liked the view of the old golf course. We had no idea how unkind the years had been to the place. Turns out it was closed down and left to deteriorate for five years and it shows it. I made a reservation...
