Room was quite acceptable, position was good, nothing can be done as regards road noise, wifi connected easily, reception very helpful.
The owners need to sharpen their pencil regards “🚭 No Smoking” policies in this country..... and enforce those policies. A designated smoking area is needed. Remove all ash trays from outside the doors of the rooms.... needless to say I am a non smoker and didn’t appreciate a smoker outside our room, reception was helpful with the problem, but the problem continued and I should not have to be in debate with a neighbouring room as to whether or not she can smoke on the verandah.

We holiday in Adelaide every Christmas and have always stayed at this motel, we chose somewhere else last year as we had Best Western points.....bad decision.
We came back to the Welcome Inn this year, and we were very pleased with the new owner. The rooms had been refurbished, fabulous bed with nice fresh white linen and white fluffy towels. The room was super clean and fresh with everything we needed. We love the location of this motel, as it is close to the City, Norwood and Unley. The new owner was absolutely delightful, attentive and helpful. We wish him all the best with his new endeavour, he will be very successful simply because of his can do attitude and lovely nature.

Took my daughters for a short holiday to Adelaide and was very happy with the accommodation. Only downfall was road noise at night which is out of their control. Was wrapped to get back after the first day of sightseeing to find the rooms serviced and beds made for us (was done each day).

Payed $135 for the 'upgraded queen deluxe room' but really not sure how they can call it that. The room smelt of stale smoke,and over powering room deodoriser to try to mask the odours, had to sleep with the window open while the traffic noise was horrendous, including the night works until all hours. Ordered take away and unfortunately they didn't send any disposable cutlery, the only thing in the room to eat spaghetti was with a teaspoon. They scrimp on the milk for complimentary tea/coffee, it was a stretch to get 2 cups out of it. One plus was Netflix being available.

Was very disappointed with the Welcome Inn, bed was horribley hard and the road noise made sleep impossible. Sadly the air-conditioning in our room was also not working and was making a horrible squeaking noise. That being said the price was very good and you do get what you pay for.

Absolutely disgusted with the treatment i received when trying to book in here, was refused the room key due to no i.d despite having the booking confirmation email and the proof of room payment not to mention the contact number he rang was mine ( apparently none of that was efficient) then to go into the back room and make a not so quiet phone call about me "allegedly being a guest" and being treated like a criminal ( which was fantastic after a long day and standing there with a tired 13 year old ) once i had jumped though his numerous hoops and allowed the room key after 40 mins, the room was noisy alot of traffic noise and people talking outside, the air conditioner didn't work and there is exposed wires from the exhaust fan in the bathroom.
Wouldn't know what the breakfast was like because we were not offered any nor was there breakfast sheets supplied in the room.
Definitely won't be staying here again and wouldn't recommend it to anyone

Good for a night or two. Bed comfy, shower pressure really good, wifi connects well and parking is good. Also, this is a very clean hotel and they take real pride in what they offer you. The location is pretty convenient too

We originally booked for 3 nights but extended our stay 4 times for a total of 12 nights. The room and bathroom were small but met our needs and the price was very good. The room was clean, the bed comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful. We did have a problem with the (free) WIFI connection being slow and sometimes not working at all. We were on the ground floor and believe the cars parked outside the room may have contributed to this problem. The main reason why we were happy to keep extending our time there was the location. It is only a short walking distance to good restaurants, 2 super makets, a laundry and to my delight the Adelaide Bridge Club. There is a bus stop across the street and bus #861 will take you into Adelaide - a 10 to 15 minute run. We did not have to use our car for the 12 days that we were there. Seniors (with a seniors card) can travel from 9am to 3pm daily and all day Sat and Sun free.

This was my first time at Welcome Inn 277 after multiple trips to Adelaide. I usually stay at Arkarba Hotel but don't find that one to be good value for money. The rooms at Welcome Inn were very clean and the bed very comfortable. While the traffic is noisy in the peak hour I had no trouble with sleeping at this hotel. The breakfasts delivered to the room by order were very good. There are two excellent restaurants in walking distance (Indian and Cork & Cleaver Steak restaurant), and also a shopping centre. The owners were very friendly and helpful.

We always stay at this motel when we visit Adelaide, rated 3 1/2 stars and doubles are $95 with 10% discount for return visits.
Nice comfortable bed with nice linen in great location and very easy to find.
Bathroom is modern, clean and nicely tiled, free wifi worked very well and great customer service too. There is road noise, but we didn't find it an issue.
Have stayed in both upstairs rooms and downstairs rooms.
Next door to our favourite Indian Restaurant too, which is a big bonus!
