This is one our local pubs which we've been dining at for years - particularly when we had very young children because the set up and menu caters extremely well for them. However, this week the hubby and I went for dinner. We chose the dining room rather than the cafe - and what a surprise to find it so...

Went there for lunch the other day and ordered the pulled pork burger and so did my mum. We both had upset stomachs to say it mildly that night. My Aunty had the fish. Nothing to write home about either. I live in Melbourne now but used to go to the espy all my life growing up. U let me...

With a promising buffet menu for Christmas lunch we booked a table for 6 @ $95/person. The queue for food was ridiculous, the trays of food empty by the time we got to them, had to wait 15 minutes for trays to be replaced, food was cold, no plates available for dessert then when I asked for one I was...

Great sea views, friendly staff. Specialty nights offer big serves, plus salad and veggie bar. Unfortunately the seniors meals are now more expensive and only available for lunch. Steak night is very good value, as are the roasts on Sunday.

We had the seniors meal. The soup was cool and bland, then for main course we had lamb shanks. This was tasty and a bid serve but again cool temperature and we sent a message to the kitchen stating this. Then the dessert again was nice with a serve of icecream but STONE COLD even though advertised as Hot chocolate...

Sit and unwind and enjoy the view over the water while you sip on your favourite beverage. Late lunch, chilling with a pizza loaded with great toppings and chips. Great cheep eats. The coffee is hot and flavoursome

Outside eating area has been recently vastly improved with see through blinds etc. Very pleasant on what was a hot night watching sun go down and eating a delicious meal of Tasmanian Salmon which was cooked to perfection and sat on bed of feta, Spanish onion, lettuce, sun dried tomatoes, pitted kalamata olives etc with the salad generously covered in...

I had booked in advance for a table for 4 by the window in the Bistro area for a Sunday lunch. There were two unoccupied tables by the window. I asked nicely if we could have one of them to be told they were reserved. Half an hour later both tables were still unoccupied. My friend asked the same young...

We dined in the restaurant Saturday night. Seated in front overlooking the esplanade was pleasant-it's always interesting to people watch, and the stormy seas encouraged fearless surfers. That's about the extent of the positive vibes. When the sun came up the waitress thoughtfully dropped the blinds. From ground level to a height of approx 1.5 metres the blinds were food...
