We found ourselves in need of a hotel close to our son and daughter-in-law when our grandbaby arrived early. Our son had a cold so we couldn't be near the baby for awhile and got a very comfortable room at Coastside Inn. Reception staff was very friendly, the room was clean and comfortable. Slightly small for the 3 of us,...

We arrived at around 6pm to check in only to find the lobby locked with a "Be Back Soon" sign. So we stood there in the rain for 10 minutes before sitting in the car another 20 minutes. I called the motel number three times and got a ring/no answer. I called the Hotel.com number and was redirected to the...

Average motel, but clean. No frills. Breakfast is available, but we decided not to stay. Staff on duty when we checked in were friendly. Cannot see the coast from the motel - it faces Hwy. 1. I am a sound sleeper, so did not hear the traffic. Husband heard every car that went by, even with the tv on. The...

Booked two night stay. At 11am after first night room keys did not work. FrontDesk said all room keys not working because of a technical problem and not sure when it will be fixed. Meantime, come to front desk whenever want to re-enter room and someone will go to your room and use a master key to let you in....

The price is fair but the staff are a joke. The Hispanic lady that helped me was absolutely clueless. She double charged me for the room, and here we are 3 weeks later, and they still have not credited back to my card. I called and asked to speak to a manager and presumably "Lupita" said that the manager would...

The accommodations are adequate. Clean, No frills, but that is fine. What ISN'T fine is the total lack of organization and communication between staff--e.g., televisions were being 'updated', but only the previous shift knew how to make the new system work; or, not being able to find a reservation made on Expedia, although it was confirmed; not able to find...

This is not a fancy motel, rather a fairly basic ordinary accommodation. However, it has been not just maintained but made quite comfortable. Beds are new, good support, lots of pillows, linens sparkly clean. An included breakfast was decent: omelet with cheese, fresh fruit, sausage, waffles.... More than enough to get you started on your day. Staff very pleasant and...

This is probably the least expensive option especially if you have a dog. It was not the street noise, but a lot of truck and traffic in the motel lot all night. It is true that there are no washcloths as noted in another review. The place is older and located near 92 and Highway 1. We had a first...

If you use a wash cloth when you bathe, you'll have to BRING YOUR OWN at this place because they don't supply them. In all our years of staying at motels, this was a first. This is an older motel but still clean. We had an upstairs two-double-bed cramped room with fridge/freezer, TV, microwave and the usual furniture. WIFI and...

Overall, very reasonable. Quiet room, 2nd floor. No noise from the neighbors. Fair value for the price. Front desk staff very accommodating; we got to know them well, for the only small negative was that our swipe key for the room door failed a couple of times each day. The included breakfast was excellent value and more in line with...
