Really nice continental breakfast--fresh squeezed juice, bagels and pastries, real butter, yogurt, and hot coffee with real milk. Access to beautiful courtyard grounds with a fire pit and pool. We got the King Suite, which was a treat-a little apartment treehouse. Smelled a bit musty, but not too bad. Very clean. Quick jaunt into town, but is right by a...

We booked these cottages because they allow pets, and we were traveling with our eight month old puppy. This is a clean and friendly place, and our cottage was quite large. The person who I made the reservation with recommended that I bring a baby gate, and that made all the difference in our satisfaction. We were able to sit...

Really cute cottages. Snug but functional rooms. Lovely gardens. It was cold at night (in February) so pack some warm clothes. They pump the heating in the room so you won't be cold. You can open the window for fresh air and they supply ear plugs as the hotel is set back from the main road (though there isn't much...

Just enjoyed our 2nd stay at the Cottages on River Road. The location is perfect, the service is friendly, the accommodations are comfortable, and the fire pit is a nice touch. It has quickly become our go-to place when visiting Guerneville. Will definitely book again!

We are in the travel/hospitality industry, and we're pretty darn picky about our travel choices. These cottages are just delightful and clearly well cared for ~ as we were! Our 70# dog was not merely allowed ~ she too was personally welcomed and had a 'lil box of goodies of her very own! All staff were generous, kind, and very thoughtful...

This was a lovely, cozy destination for my husband and I to spend a romantic weekend together. Our rooms was clean and spacious, with a microwave and mini fridge, and sweet touches like wine glasses, a "dream box" with ear plugs and eye masks, and a cute sitting area on the porch. There's a large fire pit in the center...

We have been going to The Cottages twice a year for the past 4 years and we love it. The cottages are bright, very comfortable and well appointed, the staff are amazing, and the location is perfect. It's the extra details everywhere that make it really special though, like aqua fresca, coffee and tea always available in the lobby, delicious...

it was exactly what we ere looking for coming up north. Napa was nice but we wanted something a little bit more remote. This place is hidden away among threes along the River Road and the cabins are BEAUTIFUL, clean and very well looked after. The communal area was a nice sun trap in the morning, and the breakfast was...

Our friends rented a house across the river and we need a place to stay. This was a great choice. The rooms are very comfortable. Ours had a little dinette that we could make into a bar. Very relaxing atmosphere. Loved the outside chair setup
