Booked and then found that the road from the Inn to Yosemite was closed. When I tried to cancel, I was told there was a detour...that takes an additional hour! I thought the property manager would understand given the extreme nature of the road closure, however it was more important for them to keep my $50. I urge everyone reading...

This Inn has a collection of rooms in 2 buildings set in the pines right on the river. It is off the main highway. The room I stayed in had a river view, and all the furnishings looked recently updated. The bathroom area looks brand new as well. We stayed 2/4/17 so breakfast was not offered. It is about a...

We stopped here for two nights to go to Yosemite and before we headed to San Francisco. It is a peaceful little spot, just off the main road and about 34 miles from Yosemite itself. Ample parking and a riverside (as the name says) location made it a pleasant spot. That said, it is hard to determine what sort of...

I cannot speak too much about this hotel as I stayed here for about 8 hours. Arrived at a little before11pm and left about 6:30am. I told them I would be late and they left the key at the window of their office and I left it their right when I left. The room was not bad, it was good...

The Inn was very expensive for what you get. Firstly there was no parking for us when we arrived. Rooms are very small and small/high beds. No fridge in rooms only a communal one outside. Showers were very low and you had to crouch down the entire time. Breakfast was great and was the highlight, something for everyone. Although there...

Beware booking this inn, I miss looked the $50 bucks penalty when you cancel it, it happen that I booked this through A website and when I found a better priced hotel I cancelled my booking right away but I didn't see they will impose a penalty of $50 in their policy so I did not get my whole amount...

We stayed here for three nights whilst visiting Yosemite - I will review Riverside Inn on two parts. Firstly the hotel it's self isn't too bad, our room was a decent size, bed was comfortable and the bathroom a decent size though was disappointing as it had no iron and no fridge. Apparently you have to request one of the...

We stayed 5 nights. While I would rather stay inside the park, this is one of the closest options outside of the East gate. Breakfast included, not bad. Owners pretty nice. Wifi is $5 and rather spotty and very slow when many are online. Also close enough to Groveland to get inexpensive food and load up on snacks for the...

We have two double beds. The room is clean and good size of bathroom. The airco is in bathroom so we need to keep the door open. Breakfast is simple but nice. I love the garden. There is a lot of rocking chairs and BBQ facility near river. It is nice to have quite and peaceful stay before visiting Yosemite

The Riverside Inn is about 1/2 mile down Cherry Lake Road, just over the bridge. The grounds are quite peaceful, and there were tables and chairs around the grounds and on the riverbank. There is no restaurant within walking distance so if you get a room without a kitchenette, you will need to go into Groveland for food. We got...
