My husband and I stayed here while we were on business in LA. We loved it. The customer service was great I can't remember his name at the front desk but he was super nice and very helpful. The room was small but it was perfect for our stay and the price was reasonable. The room was decorated very nicely...

Loved staying here while visiting our son at Occidental College. Super-convenient location just 10 minute drive to Oxy and Pasadena. 5-min walk to Americana at Brand and Glendale Galleria! Added bonus: watching the World Series at Jazz Club adjacent to hotel.

I ended up at The Brandwood via Hotwire and was pleased overall. The hotel has a very small "street front" - just the width of the stairs. Once you go up, it's more of a hotel. What it lacks in amenities and extras it made up for in service and comfort. The staff members I dealt with in my 2-night...

I regret booking at this hotel. It was paid in advance via hotels.com, something I will try to never do again. The setup is very strange: park on Brand Blvd., go up very steep stairway to lobby on second floor, go downstairs and re-park on second floor of parking garage out back, go downstairs of parking garage to hotel rear...

We stay at the Brandwood every year on an annual trip to Los Angeles. It's within reach of everything and is very good value for LA. It also has free parking which is a plus in this city. The rooms are always clean with nice products in the bathroom and all the essentials provided. The only downside is the lack...

Hotel was a little tricky to spot! Eventually found the little doorway which lead up a massive set of stairs not great if you have heavy bags to cart up! Carparking was in a parking lot out the back and was complimentary, Was not sure how much parking there would be as the website said limited however there was an...

Nice hotel for a short stay so long as you're OK with carrying your luggage up a flight of stairs. The staff will help you if they hear you coming but the way the entry is laid out makes it difficult for them to know you're there until it's too late. The parking is a little inconvenient but not all...

This is a wonderful hotel! Rooms are really comfortable and tastefully decorated. Staff was very nice and helpful. Location was fantastic! Every type of restaurant right outside the door and down Brand Ave. Only drawback of this hotel, no elevator! if you cannot climb steep steps with your bags, might want to look for another hotel. I considered it my...

I booked one night stay for July 22 on this hotel's website on July 12. And the booking had been confirmed by the staff (as I was still staying in this hotel at that time). Then in the morning of July 22 when I drove from Morro Bay to LA, I received an email of cancellation from this hotel, said...

I really enjoyed my stay at Brandwood. The rooms are not huge, but the space is used properly with business area and desk, large armoire for clothes and new, nicely decorated bathrooms. Next door is a great jazz bar with a friendly crowd of regulars and good food. Service is fast and excellent. For the combination of location, comfort, service...
