I try to find good things about anyplace I review. This one would be that it's quiet, the bath towels were new, thick and plentiful, and it was quiet. Also, super cheap at $67.20. The kid who checked us in was okay - the folks in the office when we left were much friendlier. The carpet had been vacuumed, the...

Would recommend this quiet reserved place. Has many accommodations for evening in beautiful town. Great hospitality couldn't help but notice the importance of meeting guests needs. Even late for questions John guest service agent was cheerful providing answers pertinent my stay! Love that even on New Year's Eve. Allowed my family to bring in this wonderful new year at the...

I gave this a "Terrible" rating because there wasn't anything lower. We were looking for an inexpensive motel to spend the night in on our way home and we should have kept driving because this place is disgusting. Our room smelled but I can't quite describe what the smell was from. It's one of those places that you feel the...

Fairly cheap. We took a small room with one queen bed. Bed was ok...but only one thin pillow per person so we both had stiff necks by morning. Bedding was thin and so we were cold during the night. Shower was not cleaned properly. Wifi reception very poor and didn't really work. TV reception also poor. Soap provided with tiny...

Expensive for what you get--needs major updating--no breakfast--smelly--noisy--cheesy TV--stinky soap! There was a party going on until 4am. No one answered the office phone. When returning the key on the morning we left, the staff commented on the party. I wonder if they were aware of it at the time.

only stayed there because other motels were full, which should have told us something. Desk clerk was rude and abrupt. Very expensive for a shabby run down unit. Bed cover was filthy, went on the floor. Shower was almost unuseable. Sink was leaking onto the carpet. Washbasin had no plug or grate so good luck to you if you drop...

Labor Day weekend and can't find a place to stay? Not too bad. Odd smell masked by cleaner. Not dirty but... We slept on top of the covers. A little pricey but better than nothing. The surroundings are nice and wooded. I saw no bugs. Staff was friendly.

Our room was expensive, carpets were filthy and bathtub wouldn't drain from one shower. It still had water standing in it after 5 minutes. The office was to open at 8:00 for guests to get coffee but still wasn't open at 8:15. A guest locked themselves out of their room after hours and no one would answer after hours phone....

INSPECT ROOMS before handing over credit card. Exterior and office is NO reflection of the condition inside rooms. We (2 couples) happen to stop in Garberville for the night (Aug. 5) and this hotel looked inviting. It went down from there. Both rooms are trash and I'm being honest with this review. Condition of the rooms absolutely disgusting. The town...

If you are looking for drugs or a hooker, this is the spot for you. 20 year old beds, outdated t.v., ants, the foul stench of cat feces/piss, your choice of 30 cats that will climb on and scratch your car. Do yourself a favor-pay the extra $20 and go to Best Western!
