What a lovely historic place to visit! Room was spacious and clean, lots of linens and towels, nice amenities like keurig machine, fridge with snacks, sherry decanter included and got a free bottle of wine! Beautiful view, antique furniture, comfortable beds. Would return again!

Great Historic Inn and Lighthouses to boot. Not sure if you call this a Restaurant review or maybe a Historic Inn review. Could be either but to be fair it has to include both. The lighthouses should be for another review. But lets start off for the reason of the vacation. With our 50-State Quest completed 11 years before we...

What a wonderful way to spend Christmas! Beautifully decorated for the holidays, the colorful ornaments and welcoming fireplace transported me back to childhood. The Inn is closing for a short time in early 2017 to add an elevator (my one regret as I was recovering from foot surgery and stairs were challenging), but I can't think of anything else that...

Thank you so much for your review. Yes, Christmas at Benbow is very special and we have a unique history of celebrating from the decorations (both inside and out), fireplaces, special menus and overall ambiance. We have many return guests who stay for days at a time just to do their Christmas Cards. Yes we will be closing on January...

Our Christmas stay at the Benbow was like stepping back in time. The historic inn was decorated to the 9's for the holiday. Christmas dinner was fantastic and very busy. Locals cone for the fine dining, some dressed in period garb. Tea and the fire in the fireplace make this a grand experience. Note: under some construction, but not a...

We were lucky to get advised to go here instead of the other options around. It has great scenic views and tons of character. It has lots of very old furniture but is updated too. What a great find in what seemed like the middle of nowhere. We were here to see a band play and were so happy we...

We stayed here last weekend as a place to have dinner and get cozy after riding the Christmas Skunk Train in Willits. The Benbow Inn is gorgeous and it is apparent that a lot of work, care and attention to detail go into maintaining it. I'm excited to see what the renovations bring. Our room was cute, the sherry was...

We live in both San Francisco and on the Oregon coast. Several years ago we discovered the historic Benbow Inn and it is THE best place to stay on this 600 mile stretch of HWY 101. The location superb and food is award winning for all three meals, not inexpensive but well worth the prices. The staff is excellent and...

We just checked in today. Tonight our friend's child started playing with a stuffed bear from under the Christmas tree in the main lounge area. The owner came over and very rudely told us that it was an antique and took the bear. She very unpleasant and it made us feel less welcome and comfortable here. A kinder approach would...

One has to have significant historic attributes in order to be part of these groups. In addition to the building being historic, our interiors, antiques, paintings, Objects de arte,...

We found this place heading south from the Avenue of the Giants. It was a great place to stay. It was a bit of work to get luggage up to the lobby and then a bit more work to the top floor. But it was worth it. The Inn is gorgeous whether at the bar or the patios, or having...
