We stayed only for a night and it was not nearly long enough. You know that things are perfect when you find yourself asking quietly "should I call now for late checkout?" Room 15 is a joy from the heated marble bathroom floor, to the bubble tub and if that was not enough a steam shower is just what the...

We were so disappointed with this hotel. It was the first hotel of our honeymoon and the one we were looking forward to the most, yet it was the biggest disappointment of them all (by a long way). The room interiors were stylish but apart from that everything was not at all what you would expect sadly. For the price...

As we're in the heart of wine country, our focus is on wine and beer, which is why we don't have a bar on the property. It's also good to note as stated above that some of our barn rooms are a little darker since they are tucked away and more secluded at the back of our property. We do...

We stayed in the old barn in a king room. It was gorgeous. Everything was comfortable and roomy. We loved the resident cats and the smores at night. The soaps and scrubs you can choose from are wonderful. The bathroom was huge and re steam shower was a plus. We would definitely come back again. The onsite restaurant had a...

We're so glad you enjoyed all the little touches. The locally-made soap bar, homemade s'mores bar, and our feisty little kittens all help make the Farmhouse special. Hope to see you again soon!

We ate here recently with 3 other couples. The staff was attentive and helpful. The food and wine pairings were perfect. We waited out by the fire pit sipping a lovely white wine while we waited a short time for our table. It was a bit of a drive to get here but worth it for a special occasion and...

Based on the fantastic yelp reviews and costly room rates I had great expectations. When you're paying over $1000/night for a room, everything should be fabulous! They charge Aman Resort prices (our favorite hotel group) but without the experienced staff. We had a bungalow with a fireplace & sauna. The room was nicely appointed but not over the top nice....

With a very small kitchen and only 14 tables in our restaurant, we do ask guests to plan ahead for breakfast (much like dinner) to allow for thoughtful and creative menu choices. Our culinary program is something we are very proud of, but we can always improve. Thank you for the feedback! A note to guests: we honor "do not...

Our favorite getaway in Sonoma is Farmhouse Inn.  The second floor rooms, in particular, feel cozy & private but luxurious, with vaulted ceiling & tubs with jets.  We enjoy the intimate wine & cheese hour hosted by local boutique wineries.  And one of our highlights of every trip is the multi-course breakfast on the Michelin star restaurant deck.  Don’t forget to try the aromatherapy...

Breakfast, wine tastings, spa treatments, and the beautiful rooms...everything we love about Farmhouse. Glad you got to visit some of our favorite wineries--there are many more to explore next time!

Like the title says, the aromas of the finely manicured gardens are exquisite. They serve to remind you that you are not at a regular hotel, but a small, wonderful inn in the heart of wine country. The rooms are large and comfortable with heated tiles in the bathrooms, steam showers, private deck with a two way fireplace(not in all...

Speaking of rosemary and lavender...we're working on a new custom soap for our spa bar that will be made with the herbs in our garden: rosemary, lavender, and mint. We're so glad you got a little relaxation and pampering in while you were here!

My boyfriend and I were so devastated when we had to leave the Farmhouse Inn after our weeklong stay! What a lovely, quaint, remote inn. Built in the 1800s, it used to be a regular B&B and the brother and sister team expanded and it evolved into a luxury B&B experience. Our capaious room was nestled in the back of...

My husband and I just got back from a wonderful holiday weekend in Sonoma County and three relaxing nights at the Farmhouse Inn, which looks and feels like the perfect set for a Restoration Hardware catalog. Lots of unique touches, like selecting one's own handmade, all-natural soap from the selection at check-in, s'mores at the ready 24/7 at one of...
