Stayed with my family and two other families over Thanksgiving week. What an awesome campground. So clean and well kept, the grounds were spotless. The staff couldn't have been more helpful and friendly.
My friend caught a dozen (though small) trout in the river and...More
My husband and I absolutely loved this place! You are surrounded by the most beautiful and impressively large redwoods. Yet it is still close (10-15 min) to Santa Cruz beach and the city of Felton shopping. It has full hookups and it's dog friendly! It...More

Yes there are tent sites right along a residential street very close to homes that are year round residences. There is a board fence and the houses are about 25-35 feet from your tent. In other words they will see and hear you and vise versa. They are very fussy about quiet time and smoke. You will hear traffic, people, contractor sounds and blowers unless you are lucky enough to get and pay more for an inside spot. This is not a camp-in-the-forest experience as many of the huge redwood trees have been cut down. It's more like camping in your next door neighbor's back yard. Cotillion Gardens a little further down Hwy9 is much better and has pool.
