The words dingy, decrepit and depressing spring to mind. The world is full of great retro hotels and this could be one. But never will. The rooms have been poorly and uncomfortably upgraded ( notwithstanding the bed which was fine). There was no wifi in the rooms, despite their claiming that there was. A huge water leak made using the...

Growing up in the Eureka area, I can remember the status of the Eureka Inn and all of its accommodations. If you wanted the best, and I do mean the best in everything, you stayed and or dinned at the historic Eureka Inn. On a recent trip back to Eureka, I had the chance to once again visit the Inn....

We liked the location of the hotel but were disappointed in the rooms. The first room we were given the wifi did not work at all so we requested another room. The second room had a half-smoked marijuana joint on the windowsill. Wondering at this point what kind of place this was where a guest would find this but the...

Good hotel. Solid beds, tidy, central and very calm. Place where John D. Rockefeller and Robert Kennedy spent a night - some time ago. Clean bathroom with bath tube, WiFi in hotel lobby only and TV on room.

This hotel was under construction but no doubt it will be amazing when it's done. It's beautiful inside and the room looked like it was recently redone and tastefully decorated. It was a little tight but the bathroom was spacious. Loved the tall ceilings! It's in a pretty good location if you want to walk around town or visit some...

My husband and I have stayed at the Eureka Inn many times over the last 3 years. It seems like the quality of the rooms and services steadily declines. On our last stay as we were drawing a bath for our 7 month old son we found a pair of Dirty underwear in our bathtub. We notified the front desk,...

We are very sorry for your experience. Our staff has been working very hard to ensure great guest service and an excellent stay for our guests and I assure you that if you look at our reviews over the past year, that this is a fluke and not a normal occurrence. We have dealt with the training problem with all...

Visited the Eureka Inn over the 4th of July. The room was very clean and the beds white and comfy. However the poor old girl needs some updating. The bathroom very small with no counter space. Bath plug does not engage for a full tub. There is a refrigerator, but no microwave. The bar is old and lonely, the employees...

We had a great time here-clean and quiet with interesting history and architecture. Great strides have been made in restoring this hotel which we noticed throughout including the guest rooms. We would definitely stay here again!

This is an old historic hotel. If you want shiny and new, pick someplace else. The rooms have been updated but it definitely has the feel of an old hotel. Bed was very comfy. Location was great -walking distance from downtown. There was a fridge in the room which was very nice. Cold breakfast options. Pool was under construction when...

We decided to stop in Eureka on the way home from Oregon. It split the trip neatly in half by time, and we'd never been there. We selected this hotel because of the photos. Arrived to find that the swimming pool was empty as the area was being worked on. I am happy to see work continuing on the hotel,...
