Since I work for a major airline and have for many years, I have been most fortunate to travel many places throughout the world. I have also stayed in beautiful hotels and resorts. I can honestly say this is by far one of the most...More
We arrived on Father’s Day, the line was to the door for check in. Being that it was Sunday, that’s a pretty typical checkout day.
But once I got to the front, the girls were very friendly and explained that they are running behind and...More
What an incredible experience to be at the Resort for our family of 35+. It is similar to being in a little city. We didn't have to leave the resort. Stores, swimming, food, theater! IT was fantastic not to have to leave to enjoy it...More
The location was breathtaking and rooms big, clean, comfortable and nicely decorated. Lots of things and activities for everyone and I felt very safe.

If you're looking at a 1-bedroom then it's not a studio unit. It's probably 700-800 square ft., as someone else mentioned. Not sure if the Mt Villas 1-BR are lock-offs, but you could call and ask. We have never wanted to stay in the Villas, partly because they seem noisy (lots of kids!), there is only 1 pool (so if a kid has an accident they have to close the whole pool!), and you are not in easy walking distance to the convenience store or restaurant or golf. We have stayed at the Villas on the Green (OK, but lock-offs are sometimes noisy) but our favorite place to stay is the original villas, which are all 2-BR, 2-BA, about 1400 square feet, very quiet, close to several pool choices, theatre, restaurant, and the other amenities. So it depends on what you're looking for! Great vacation spot--a favorite of ours for over 10 yrs.!
