Other locations are much much further from park. This is only roughly 20 minute drive to park entrance where others are 45min+ or the ones inside park are much more expensive for relative same quality. Rooms were nice. Lobby was gorgeous with great gift shop and some food/snacks for you to stock up on since after 10pm food is unavailable...

When we arrived the first evening, our room was not made up. They did get it made up in about 20 minutes. The next day, we reported that the coffee maker, sink faucet, and hair dryer didn't work. They did replace with a new coffee maker and a new faucet while we were out during the day (at Yosemite). The...

We stayed two nights here and overall were happy. The property is spread out over a large area and on different levels, no elevators and no offers of help with the bags. The room was clean and the café was very good. The main dinning room was ok. The major plus is the proximity to Yosemite. A decent value for...

It's a better motel than my expectations from the reviews. It's a MOTEL.. It's not the Majestic Yosemite Hotel. Clean, a room with two queen beds and a kitchen. We had a stove, refrigerator, microwave, and dishes. Knowing that breakfast in the area is a questionable buffet we brought our own breakfast supplies. We could have brought lunch stuff too...

Cedar lodge We stayed 2 nights. The room was decent and reasonably clean. On the second night after visiting Yosemite, we arrived back at the lodge after dark with our 2 young kids (5&8 years). It was very dark outside our room and difficult to see the front door and lock. After fumbling about in the dark, I simply could...

For the three nights my wife and I stayed, we appreciated the large room with two queen beds, although used only one for sleeping, the other for our bags. There was a small table that was useful. The room, number 446, was at the very back of the large property, and thus was quiet, and was close to several pleasant...

Based on other reviews, I was prepared to be unimpressed with this place. But I found Cedar Lodge to be an excellent value, in terms of accommodations, amenities and distance to Yosemite. We choose a Junior Suite. It had one bedroom with two extremely comfortable queen beds, plus a separate living room with a Murphy bed. The kitchen is situated...

Room comfortable and spacious. Very close to the park entrance. The cons are mainly the price of the room for the quality you receive, and specially the high price and poor quality of the breakfast. We only spent one night and did not enjoy the indoor swimming pool.

My wife and I stayed two nights in Cedar Lodge during our visit to Yosemite National Park. The location was convenient, our room was quiet and comfortable and both outdoor and indoor pools were available, though we did not use them.

We stayed here as part of an Astronomical Bus Tour to Yosemite National Park. We stayed over night here as part of the tour. There are wooden bears all around the hotel which would be cute, but most of them have had their noses ripped off. The 60's style diner was obviously just a diner built in the 60s that...
