I don't know how to call this place because is neither a hotel nor a spa. It's not a hotel because the room and bathroom were not cleaned while we were there and I didn't see anyone around doing any kind of housekeeping. It's not a spa, because the fact that it has two swimming pools with water from the...

The hosts are really nice people, but the resort, and the rooms are dirty .. They need some serious cleaning. The pools are great. We saw cleaning person carrying only broom, never vacuum cleaner, and rooms need serious cleaning.

Ram and Sandy are the most welcoming and sereine people. I have been going to the nurturing nest for a couple years now. The nurturing nest is a secret place for very special people. Nothing like a resort, so if you like the huge resort feeling this place is not for you. If you like quiet and healing space you...

I was supposed to go skiing in Mammoth but, had become ill with a cold, cough, and lastly I had learned I had glaucoma. I was broken emotionally and spiritually, so I cancelled my trip and headed to Nurturing Nest. Desert Hot Springs is old and behind on development. It isn’t the resort mecca Palm Springs has become, nor is...

I really wanted to love this place, I did. The name alone got me and I read all these great reviews! I was super, super disappointed. I'm one of those spiritually woo woo girls who likes to go on silent retreats and to spiritual places where I can un wind, meditate and get centered. I thought that's what the Nurturing...

We enjoyed the minimal amount of other guests, although with so few rooms it seems unlikely that there would ever be that many. It's in a quiet neighborhood - and we definitely had to work to keep our nose levels low. Overall - very enjoyable.

My husband and I have stayed here several times. It has become our go-to destination when we want a relaxing weekend for just the two of us. We have found that the environment is very conducive to spiritual rejuvenation, and we often find ourselves treating it like a mini personal retreat, alternating between meditating and soaking in the mineral waters....

Very quite and gorgeous view of the mountains. I can't wait to get out there again! One is definitely transported to a new place, that is literally only 12 min away from Palm Springs. I loved sitting in the nights cool desert breeze after sitting in the hot springs. Extremely relaxing!

My sister and I came for the Freedom Retreat. Having read the wonderful reviews, I was positively inclined for a good experience. Nurturing Nest far exceeded my already wonderful expectations. This truly is a haven. Dr. Ram and Dr. Sandy truly deliver on a mind, body, spirit healing retreat. The program is extremely rich in content, addressing movement, thoughts, and...
