I quite like this hotel due to the location, close to the ocean and Del Mar restaurants. However I was shocked to find the bar being closed at 9pm each night. Case in point-tonight (16th October) the bar was closed with 14 clients still in...More

Our room was spacious, clean and had a view of the ocean. 2 pools, room service was delicious. The staff was friendly and accommodating! I stay in IHG properties all over the country, this one was fantastic! We'd stay here again.

This is a lovely hotel close to the Del Mar beach and to all of the restaurants on the main street through Del Mar. The staff are very helpful. Excellent place to stay in Del Mar. We walked to restaurants for dinner. We could watch...More

We stayed at the Indigo Hotel in Del Mar because of the price and location, it worked out well. The hotel is about a mile South of Del Mar beach and there are about a dozen restaurants along the way. Del Mar itself is a...More

The Indigo is a nice refreshed boutique property in a beach community that is surprisingly lacking for Hotel options. We opted for Indigo due to a desire to visit Del Mar Beach. Rating is tough to do as there are many complexities to weigh. The...More

Some rooms have private balconies, and some have chairs outside the door that open to common areas. We had the common area and it was plenty private, people didn't walk that close to the rooms. There is a small restaurant but we didn't go eat there; I'm sure they have coffee. It's a short walk to traditional coffee/espresso bars.
I'm sure you'll love this hotel but look at the room first. Some rooms are much larger and brighter than others.
