Starting with the great staff, a great front desk to help us check-in, a beautiful day to enjoy the Upper Deck with a view of the sunset, and a large comfortable, well-appointed room, it was an excellent experience. We were celebrating a birthday, so invited friends to join us

My guy booked this place for 2 nights as a romantic surprise. He thought it was close to the beach. It’s not really. It’s quite a convoluted walk there. The hotel lobby and bar have a nice resort feel. Food/service was very good. We ate breakfast and had a drink. The staff are

Great to hear that your F&B experience was perfect and we appreciate your nice comment about our staff - thanks for calling us "stars" :-) On the other hand, I am excited to let you know that we are scheduled for a full room renovation starting in November 2019 that will definitely enhance the brightness and decorations of all of our rooms. The walk to the beach involves getting down a cliff or walking a mile to the North. The pool and jacuzzi are nice. Easy walk to nice restaurants. Convenient to UCSD. Indoor parking with elevator. Two buildings. Check out the hotel map, only some units have unobstructed

Stayed here for a "Girls Weekend". Very comfortable with 2 queen beds, a mini-kitchen, and lovely patio by the pool. The staff was very accommodating. Property is conveniently located (walkable) to downtown Del Mar and the beach. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Where to start with this warm-hearted wreck of a place? Can a hotel be both charming and decrepit? Comfortably cozy and uncomfortably out of date? A spot you want to revisit and one, on second thought, you never want to see again (or the reverse)? Well, yes, if it’s the Indigo

Does this hotel Indigo have an airport shuttle service from San Diego?
I believe they have the items you mentioned. I don’t recall if they had a coffee machine. The room details may give you the answer to your question.

Does this hotel have balconies? Coffee shop on site?
Some rooms have private balconies, and some have chairs outside the door that open to common areas. We had the common area and it was plenty private, people didn't walk that close to the rooms. There is a small restaurant but we didn't go eat there; I'm sure they have coffee. It's a short walk to traditional coffee/espresso bars. I'm sure you'll love this hotel but look at the room first. Some rooms are much larger and brighter than others.

there are no private balconies. the second floor of the main building has a few tables and chairs outside some of the rooms. there is also an area on the second floor where you can watch the sunset. there is a restaurant onsite for coffee as well as coffee makers in the rooms.

What is the pet fee? Also, if I get a king bed, can I get a rollaway bed?
Sorry, I don't know the answer to either question. Just call the hotel. They are really friendly and helpful.
