I had the wonderful fortune of staying in this hotel when I was visiting LA for business. When I told the cab driver at LAX the name of hotel to drive me to, he said "you are staying at the munchkin hotel!" Why yes, I am....They really did a wonderful job restoring this property, and you can tell that they...

This review is in the food and Jazz Night only. The food was so good. My husband had the fresh fish of the day...of course I tasted it from his plate...lol. Fantastic!!! I had the Salmon salad...oh so good. The waitress was very sweet and attentive. And the jazz duo was wonderful. The hotel has history. Its beautifully decorated with...

First steps into this hotel are magic. Staff at the front desk so welcoming. Lobby is beautiful. Room was very nice, good size for a boutique and two beds. Toiletries very abundant. The lobby doubles as a restaurant and bar with music at night. Good mix of young crowd with older (me). No noise in room from below. Continental breakfast...

Love your succinct review. Thank you. As many people know, the Wizard of Oz was filmed on the MGM lot, just to the west of the Hotel and many of the munchkins stayed in the hotel, sharing rooms, for the duration. There are many other movie memorabilia associated with the Hotel, including the fact that John Wayne owned the hotel....

The Culver Hotel is a boutique hotel set at the very heart of Culver City. In fact, it's original owner, Harry Culver kept his offices here as it was situated right in the middle of his newly design neighborhood. The hotel is fully remodeled as of 2007 and the results are astounding. Each room is well appointed and has unique...

This review could be used for a travel publication. Nicely done and Thank You. We still have Mr. Culver's office being used as a Private Events space. His large, walk-in safe is being used as a unique bar for our larger events on our 2nd floor, which can accomodate up to 125 people. Some people believe Mr. Culver is still...

The hotel has been remodeled with all the modern amenities. I had the pleasure of staying in a suite. I've never stayed in any other hotel, in any country, that had his and hers bathrooms. Comfortable bed, luxurious toiletries, cozy sitting room and a great location. There is nothing not to love about this hotel.

This hotel is in "The Heart of Screenland" aka Culver City California, where the MGM (now owned by Sony) Studio is located just down the street. When "The Wizard of Oz" was filmed in 1938, the studio booked out the entire hotel for the cast, there's a diorama tour around the outside of the hotel that tells the story. It's...

The hotel was lovely! We were there for a wedding offsite , and our only complaint was that the hotel had several other weddings going on, rendering the facilities off limits much of the time. Our room was beautiful, comfortable and elegant. Would stay again!

Thanks for the feedback. Sorry about the other events. Sometimes, usually on a Saturday afternoon, we have the actually wedding ceremony in our Grand Lobby. It does cause some inconvenience to our guests, but the location is quite spectacular. 20 foot cielings with great wood and windows and chandeliers. All from the 1920's. Hope to meet you next time you...

he hotel is beautiful, the service at the bar is attentive but the food...go elsewhere it does not match up to the vibe. We spent the night, this is our third time. The rooms are very nice, clean and worth the stay. I recommend the hotel but not for the food.
