Having planned a weekend including a visit to a popular amusement park, It was decided that we would just spend the night rather than drive back the approximately 90min drive. We knew we would be too tired. The first room we checked into was very stuffy and smelled like smoke, after informing the front desk, the young woman at the...

Good price for the West Side location. There are few hotels in the Culver City area and unless you are willing to pay $250 to $300 a night this is a good choice.

Good points - large room, clean, well located for sightseeing, friendly staff. Bad points - Car parking is very limited, decor is very dated, with power sockets coming away from the wall, TV didn't work properly, breakfast not included. I probably wouldn't stay here again. I'd recommend paying slightly more for a better hotel.

I would like to see the doors between rooms replaced with solid core...

This hotel made for an excellent staging area for a nice weekend in the Los Angeles. Distance is all relative but we were close to the beach, the Hollywood area, the Getty, the Griffith Observatory, zoo and plenty of other attractions and the airport as well. The building isn't super attractive and the outside entry was a definite throw back....

We've stayed in my travelodges but this one though is different. Big rooms, very comfortable beds, huge flat screen tv with directv cable. Free Wi-Fi and $10 breakfast coupon for the lovely café downstairs. don't remember the name of manager on duty but he was really helpful with directions and things to do near the area suggestions. will come back
