Had a lunch in the beach restaurant. Pretty busy on Saturday afternoon. Service was ok but the Tacos were pretty average and the price was on the high side 26 USD for three small Tacos. Nice beach front and garden. The hotel looks very nice from the outside, didnt live there so no experience from the rooms. When you park...

The hotel and grounds are gorgous with beautiful vistas of the beach/ocean and plenty of amentities. Everything you do there however is very expensive so bring lots of cash or a high limit credit card. The staff is professional, courteous and helpful and the food is very good.

The Great: First let me say that we loved our stay here. When you come to San Diego or Coronado, you stay at Hotel del Coronado because well, it's The Del, the best and only place to stay. It's amazing. The building itself, the history, the beauty, the beach. It is truly amazing and I would definitely stay here again....

We did not stay there, however, I highly recommend taking a tour! It's amazingly beautiful and architecturally stunning! We had a drink in the outdoor bar & just enjoyed the atmosphere. The history of the hotel is very interesting, too.

Seriously, for years I had wanted to visit this hotel (Some Like it Hot and all that) and yes it is an amazing building BUT it is also like a third rate resort. It was overcrowded, lacking in style or service and I was very grateful we had not booked to stay there. Much like many iconic hotels (Raffles in...

The setting is gorgeous, the history spectacular. Overall, the hotel and beach are beautiful. Staff is good. However, there are the details. During recent rainy stay, the place seemed cold, dark, drafty, noisy, leaky. Elevator was out of service for several days. In room, iron was broken, two lights didn't work, closet door wouldn't stay open, bath products low quality,...

Very nice place with a feeling of 1900 spirit. Lovely decoration. If you like modern and small hotel, pass your way! By the beach. All shops and conference facilities at disposal. My room was rather large and comfortable but smelt humidity. Also bathroom and connectivity, alarm clock would benefit from renovation / update. Food was good but overall pricy. That...

Although I was there during a coastal storm in January, it provided a lovely retreat back into the past with excellent food and service. I had a room in the charming Victorian section with a quaint old-style elevator, but there were cabanas that faced the beach as well. The hotel is an historic hotel that has great ambiance. I really appreciated the old world touches. The rooms in the main hotel, the oldest part, were great. Windows that open! I loved the courtyard in the middle. Service was great. Food was excellent. I had a great time.
