We spent a golf/birthday get away at Whitehawk. Stayed in cabin #12 which more than met our expectations. VERY comfortable, great mountain décor. All the amenities of a nice hotel room. We brought our own "Happy Hour" treats and libations. Sat on the porch over looking the meadow and enjoyed life and the view. There several golf courses in the...

We are glad you tried several golf courses while you were in the area. The Whitehawk course was named one of the best public courses in California and that might be why the higher price. We were sorry to hear you were not satisfied with the breakfast that comes with your night stay. We try to meet individual needs with...

My husband & I have been here three times now - each time with different friends. The cabins are comfortable with cute decor and are very clean. Most important to me are beds/pillows and shower water pressure. Both are excellent! Awesome homemade meals in the lodge with outstanding service. Great golf course on property and several more nearby. We plan...

Thank you for bringing your friends to The Lodge. Word of mouth is what brings many of our guests to us for the first time. Thanks for doing more than your share. We hope to see you again next year or sooner! Thanks again, Jerry & Mary Ann

We were looking for somewhere to stay midweek between a Lake Tahoe wedding and a Napa wine weekend. Friends referred us to the Graeagle area and Whitehawk Ranch as a great golf course to play. The owners of the lodge responded to my request for three nights by helpfully moving another reservation to a different cabin, so we could stay...

A hole in one? I only dream of that, Jerry too for that matter. So glad it was up here, now you have to return! There are several golf courses up here to keep the true golfer busy for days. We are so close to Tahoe but really so far away, they call us "The Lost Sierra" and now you...

Four of us recently stayed 3 nights at the Lodge and played golf at the adjoining Whitehawk golf course. Another delightful experience with owners MaryAnn & Jerry Crowe and their staff. Great food, wonderful service and just an overall relaxing experience. Everyone always makes you feel at home. We've been going up there for many years and have never been...

We were due to pick up our boys from a nearby sleep away camp and instead of driving there and back from Berkeley in one day, we decided to stay in the high country for the weekend. When I tried to find a place to stay, I stumbled upon the Lodge at Whitehawk online and gave it a shot. I'm...

Thank you for your lovely review. We are so glad when new people find us and enjoy the daily life of this beautiful place. We enjoyed meeting your sweet dog. We try to accommodate our gluten free guests as much as we can. It has been one thing that has really changed over the years. We always had soy milk...

Wife and I have been staying at the Lodge for many, many years. The owners, Jerry and Maryann, and the staff, Erin and Michelle in particular, are warm, accommodating, friendly, and ready to serve. In fact, the "personal touch" is a big reason that we keep returning! The cabins have a "luxurious rustic" feel, if you can imagine. They are...
