Our camping site on the edge of Lake Almanor was perfect! Beautiful views, gentle lake sounds soothing us to peaceful sleep and gentle awaked-ness! The only minus' were the sounds of the road/highway and the campers next to us!! We were glad to find the toilets were not 'pay', only the showers. And, as a Californian, a 4 minute shower...

We returned to this campground after not being there for around 8 years. The view of Lake Almanor is still beautiful! We did not have reservations and the staff was helpful and got us a spot. The grounds were maintained very well. Sights were level. We stayed in a fifth wheel.

We were very pleased with the campsite we were moved to. Our arrival on the weekend was not the ideal time to check in, but with the manager's help, we had the best campsite ever. We have a 34 ft RV, and our front yard space went right down to the water's edge. We hope to go to the North...

I want to thank everyone at this camp. All the staff are friendly and professional. The grounds are clean . The views are amazing! We had never been to this area and had lots of anxiety about this trip. It was really fun! We tent camped on the lake shore. We saw Eagles! We fished, swam and relaxed! It's a...

We recently stayed here in our travel trailer with some friends that were in their motorhome. We had sites #52 & #53 which are located right on the water. Absolutely beautiful! The sun coming up in the morning was awesome! Site 53 is quite roomy, site 52 is a little smaller but is perfect for a larger motorhome (nice level,...

Very nice campground on the lake with lots of tall pine trees and some of the biggest pine cones we have ever seen. Camped right on the water in one of the waterfront sites. Launched our kayaks straight from our site. Nice big tree lined lake for kayaking. Once again very nice campground.

We're in a nice pull through site with views of the lake. Sites are nice, mostly level with power and water. Lots of tall trees but plenty of room for slides and awnings. Bring your boat as the lake is full and the fish are biting! The slips are nice and the little store is packed full of stuff.

This campground is clean. Everyone was really quiet, dogs allowed on leash, has flush toilet and hot showers. We stayed in space 35, could see the water just fine, however, if there is someone in the space next to you, you are looking into their front door. Waterfront better choice as no one is in front of you. Spaces are...

Our family decided to do a last minute camping trip and therefore knew our site choices would be limited. Here are the Pros and Cons of this campground - site 90. PROS In a non-drought year, you would be able to swim right at your campsite (it was very low this year and a little weedy) Campground is very clean....

We stayed from Friday through Monday. This was my first visit here although I have visited Chester, Almanor and Lassen many times. The campground is very convenient to Chester. It only takes a few minutes to drive into town for restaurants, groceries, a fantastic chocolate shake at the Lassen Gift Company, and an outdoor art show. The campground was very...

“Call the staff to make a reservation and let them know your needs. They told us in advance that our campspot was small but the only one left lakeside. When we mentioned we would not have a tent but sleep in our truck/campershell, they said it would be just fine and this was true. They are honest and nice. Talk to them!”
