We researched the Seaside Hotel a lot and it is exactly as most reviews state. Property is well managed by husband and wife owners. Key highlights are fun, decorative rooms each with unique decorations. The garden is lovely and quiet. Rooms are on the smaller side so keep this in mind but in-line for property of this age and build....

We stayed at the Seaside Motel in Cayucos on our way from Lake Tahoe to LA. It was a wonderful place to stop after driving down the coast highway. Each room is individually decorated. We stayed in a room decorated with trees and birdhouses which was very cute. The flowers and gardens surrounding the motel were lovely and very well...

The proprietors of this hotel (33 years) have created a little spot of seaside heaven that is a very appealing alternative to motels. Their rooms feature individual themes like "The birdhouse suite" with a hand painted tree and relief birdhouses adorning the walls.

Great location, everything you need your feet can take you to. The owners work their butts daily off on this place. It's clean, bright and welcoming. The love they have the for garden is evident as well, so pristine, and beautiful. We will be back. P.S. Even our teenager liked the place, and he's a hotel snob!

Seaside Motel is a small, "mom and pop" place. It has some minor drawbacks - limited parking, no breakfast, and no pool. What really stands out is the care that the owners have for their motel. Each room is distinctly decorated according to a theme (as opposed to most places which hang a picture or two on the wall and...

Great location, Martin's restaurant across the street (great food and prices) , Morro Bay just down the road. Now the motel, walked into the room and was amazes, decorated with a sense of whimsey and comfort. So nice to see something other than white sheets (our room had yellow tones and we had yellow sheets). In the back they have...

The Seaside Motel is a wonderful, feel-good stop on your tour of the Pacific Coast Highway!! The owners are customer centered and have put their heart, personality and soul into this motel over the years, making it a unique, welcoming and wonderful place to stay. The photos say it all - it is a really cool place to stay!! Also,...

I booked this motel because of all the good reviews I read. Rebecca and Rick have obviously put a lot of work into decorating the rooms and planting a lovely courtyard area, with loads of flowers and kitschy decorations inside and out. The bed was very comfortable and I loved having a full stocked kitchen. That said, it is an...

Perfect for our 30th anniversary - Charming, cozy, restful, and as squeaky clean, well maintained, and comfortable as it gets, with a generous supply of really good soft towels and a very comfy bed with real bedding! There is a really lovely garden with barbarques supplied with all the charcoal and tools needed, a table to dine alfresco in beauty,...

Cayucos is a cozy little town which looks like a decoration to a movie, but somehow projects a strong flow of positive energy. We stayed at the inn with my family during our trip from SF to LA, and the night we spent here was probably the brightest memory of the whole trip. Amazing place. I just don't know how...
