I lived in the area of Hayward-Castro Valley-San Leandro for many years. Returned to visit family. This Inn/Motel is located somewhat off the beaten path. While a shopping strip mall is located across the street (a very wide street), there is nothing else in the area within walking distance. The main CV 'town' is a few miles west. However, it...

We were very impressed by the clean carpets, new sheets (although they were so stiff, you knew when anyone turned over), comfortable bed but the breakfast pastry is nothing but typical packaged one, coffee was ok. There is a shopping center across the highway and a grocery store available, The noise problems were with upstairs room and heavy feet. Could...

This motel is such a great value for the price! We stayed in a room with two Queen beds, 210, upstairs. The room was very clean, no carpet stains & soft enough to walk barefoot, no bad odors, comfortable queen beds & pillows, plenty of room, and decent amenities (tv, fridge, microwave, coffee pot, hairdryer, toiletries, and good sized closet...

We spent one night at the Castro Valley Inn in July. We were on a college tour, California to Oregon to Washington and returning. We wanted to meet friends who lived in San Ramon and this hotel was close and easy for them to find. Not a fancy place, dated, but clean and good value for this expensive area. Breakfast...

We spent 2 nights here and loved our room. It has plenty of room & large bench in the bathroom. It has a fridge microwave coffee drip filter with coffee provided no kettle iron & ironing board. Breakfast is provided in the reception area a choice of pastries & coffee & tea which was sufficient to start the day. The...

Great front desk that is helpful to your needs. Clean and comfortable room. Great deal for your money. Minutes away from Oakland and San Francisco. Sharri's and the Posh Bagel were nearby places to eat. Easy to get about around town.

It's a lot out of the way, but an okay and somewhat quiet place to stay (try to get a room in the back of the inn, tho....traffic noise can be a problem). Nice person at the counter. Very clean establishment.

Great affordable price. Other Castro Valley hotels thing they are in international cities or vacation travel places, or 5 STAR hotels worth $350 to $500. U want to relax from long drive or clean place to stay without bugs, while visiting friends in East Bay than this is the place. Safeway and Scottrade are across the street. Catholic Church is...

Was supposed to stay for 2 nights but they only showed us staying for 1 so we had to move to another room for the the second night. First room (125) had wet carpet (which was dirty) in front of the A/C unit because the drain was clogged. The coffee pot was dirty with old coffee and filter left in...

The time I spent at this run down motel was far too long. Didn't get any sleep because the bed was so hard and lumpy. Pillows, same issue. The sheets and blankets had holes and rips on them. The carpet was dirty and had rips. There is a maintenance guy that seems to live there, he was in the room...
