My daughter and I stayed here in August as we were attending a wedding in the area. We had the king suite with fireplace and the room was very nice. It as light and airy and had fans for when it got stuffy. The bed was comfortable and the front room with the TV had a nice place to stretch...

My friends and I stayed at the Country Garden Inn this past weekend and I must say it is the worst hotel experience I have ever had! Do not stay at this hotel because not only is it run down and overpriced, but it has the worst customer service and is the least safe hotel I have ever stayed in....

It is upsetting and unfortunate to read such a review. We take all comments seriously. Carmel Valley is a popular wedding destination and on such a happy occasion a certain amount of reveling and imbibing is to be expected. Upon receiving a call from an inebriated guest stating that their room had been broken into, the night manager assured them...

We spent one lovely night at the Hidden Valley Inn during our 12 day trip to California. After a long and misty drive up from Big Sur, we found the sunshine, mountains and cozy room a welcome bright spot. The service and knowledge of staff for the area was helpful and friendly. The King Fireplace Suite was great space for...

We already visited Carmel-at-the-Sea before so now we wanted to spend our outside this place. We found this inn and we liked it. We had the room on the hill (noot in the valley) and it was spacious and we liked it. You have to go down the hill (2 minutes walk) to swin in the pool. The Belgoum waffles...

We spent two nights at The Hidden Valley Inn and found it an ideal spot for touring Carmel Valley, Carmel, and Big Sur. The room was reasonably priced, clean, and included a delightful breakfast in a bright dining room. The gardens and flowers were a treat in themselves. Welcoming and helpful staff added to the experience.

We stayed at your motel for two nights at the end of June and would certainly recommend it. The room was very good value for money - comfortable in every way. We especially enjoyed the breakfasts, served on real china with lots of fresh fruit. It is worth staying there just to enjoy your beautiful gardens. So why pay extra...

We loved our stay at your lovely inn. The bed was very comfortable, the flowering grounds, beautiful, the food delicious, and the service wonderful. We traveled across the country to Carmel to attend a wedding. The grooms' family recommended this location, but we were unsure until we arrived and were happy indeed with our experience.

Three girl friends and I went on a get away for two nights here during the week. We stayed at the Hidden Valley Inn. The breakfast was wonderful with the best waffles I've ever eaten and soft boiled eggs to perfection! The hosts were fun and very accommodating. We visited with other guests in the breakfast room and it was...

We stayed at the Hidden Valley Inn on Wednesday-Friday. It is walking distance from the village, with all the wine tasting rooms and restaurants. The room we had was a one-of-a-kind special room: a great outdoor private patio in the trees, just around the corner from the inn's breakfast/wine room. The room itself was country cool; nice king bed, full kitchen,...

We were in Carmel Valley visiting family. The Country Garden Inn is a clean motel-like building with very nice hosts. The room we stayed in was spacious with a sitting area separate from the bedroom, but it has not been updated and has no a/c. The bathroom is particularly dated. We were lucky to have quiet fellow guests during our...
